The only constant is war. Go to the stars and war will follow. If the reef teaches anything it is the folly of dreaming you can run. We will fight, we must fight. Those tempered in the fires of combat know this truth. Join us and you will learn the other secrets. If you want the squabbling of old crows and boylovers, join the Monarchy. If you want to run rather than stand and fight for all you hold dear, then Dead Orbit has room for you on their funeral barges. If you want to be the few to stand up to the overwhelming power of the darkness, and laugh as they fall before you, then the Future War Cult is ready to facilitate your rebirth through combat.

  • /* I love it! I read your entire post in Lakshmis' robotic voice */ If you're so eager to die why won't you simply jump off a bridge and let terminal velocity do the job? A cause you say? But of course, a fight without a cause is like a machine without a purpose. There is almost not a thing left in this solar system that you can't get without struggling for it, that you can't get without compensating and suffering for it. Your cause to defend what you hold dear is no exception, but neither is our desire to expand. They may call us cowards while conveniently forgetting that exploring new and unknown frontiers beyond is something that does in fact require courage, for we know not what we'll have to face. Some preach us to be deserters while these same preachers put all their faith in guardians and The Traveler while not doing anything more to promote a cause of their own. War is constant, that is not disputable. But change is also constant, as oxymoronic as it may sound. Change is omnipresent, people change, environments change, even ideas can change. You can adapt by taking up arms and fighting until you either win or die, like so many others have done before you. We've decided we'll survive by making new homes throughout the stars, war and conflict may follow us, but we will fight and die for the sake of our new worlds, not for the sake of a dormant god in the sky. No matter what path is chosen, suffering will be an inevitability.
