Please fix the error codes coming after the Hotfix... everthying was working smoothly and now im even getting kicked out during Patrol missions!!! everything was working well before so i deem it highly unlikely that suddendly my networing has changed ....

Do a traceroute between your PC and something like Bungie.net or Microsoft.com or other servers that may be in the west coast - not 100% sure which region servers Bungie is using (could even be in another country) but if you see any major response times ANYWHERE along that route, they that is likely the cause of your issues, and outside of Bungie's control. It may even be out of your ISPs control. It wasn't that long ago that there was a major bottleneck overseas that caused issues with a number of gamers trying to connect - it was up to the network owners in those regions to fix it, and they eventually did after a week or so. Nothing is a straight line when the internet is concerned. Second - when playing games like this where others can be connected to the same game, it can also be the connection of the other parties on the same map causing issues. Yours and there connections may be stable when alone or with only 1 other, but if you get too many people on a map and they are all questionable connections, the issue will compound itself and cause disconnects or errors. Again, it's not a straight line - your data is not only going back and forth to Bungie, but also back and forth to all othe rplayers on the game with you, so that means any interruption in any of those paths could cause Bungie's servers or even the game itself to say "maintaining this connection isn't worth it and hurting the service as a whole - somebody needs to be removed" - and then it removes the next person(s) that has a data glitch. People need to stop thinking it's all one sided - internet connections and communications are not even 2 sided unless it is just you and the game, it always has many facets of communication and any failure along any one of them can cause disruption. Now that it is the holidays, likely 100's of more concurrent connections are being realised, many of them questionable at best. Start checking things at your end and work out. The traceroute will at least give you an idea where the bottlenecks may lie, if any. If you use a router, try direct connecting your console to the modem. If it has no issue when direct connected, the issue is with your router or network setup. If you use WIFI to connect your console - DON'T - wifi is a convenience technology, NOT a dependable technology - it is prone to constant changes and warpings even under ideal conditions. It was not made for constant hi-bitrate communcations like a game requires. Start from there and work out. You'll eventually figure out the issues. be happy that Bungie is one of few companies that proactively monitors the networking situations and deals with everything they have control over on a regular basis. Most changes for networking will rarley come in an update - they can be addressed many times on their end - or they may need to contact specific ISPs to see if there is an issue with that end of the connection.

I also get kicked out every 2 minutes, I'm not able to complete any missions. I try to go online almost at every hour and it's impossible! Please solve this huge problem [b]ASAP[/b]!

I get this every day at 8pm with the daily reseat, the severs just get smashed for people wanting new bounties and then with the huge rise in players online the servers begin kicking others to make more room to handle the increase 😔 It's even worse on Tuesday nights with the weekly reset! Can't get on for like and hour sometimes even 2! After the update!

Hi Flashh, The errors you are seeing can be caused by general disconnections between you and the various routes your traffic takes across the internet to get to Bungie. This includes packet loss or disconnections between your home network and Bungie (such as ISP saturation or general internet congestion). It can even be caused by certain WiFi setups, faulty in-home wiring, or other issues that require on-site support or expert investigation. I recommend trying the steps here: http://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12147 This will have you plug directly into the modem and identify if the underlying issue is upstream from your home.

I've been having exactly the same problem, always anteater, one or two weasels. I never had error codes before and this is making the game unplayable for me right now. I payed for the DLC and I haven't got a chance to even try the raid with friends because this keeps happening. This has only started happening since the hot fix so I tried deleting every destiny file from my console, reinstalling and re downloading updates and DLC. It worked for a couple of hours with no error codes but it was too good to be true, I soon started getting anteater codes again, so quickly I couldn't finish a crucible game. This has been incredibly frustrating.....I'm pissed! I wanted to finish upgrading Thorn, because you insisted that we put all that time back into levelling our exotics again, thanks bungie, and now I can't even get through my dailies so I can finish maxing it for Iron Banner 3.0 This is not a problem on my end, I've tried everything to be tried and I'm still getting kicked, please help me.

Same problem for me since yesterday. When I'm doing a mission or even standing in the tower, i get kicked after 5-7mins. Bungie's response to this problem is bs. If it was your connection, why would a majority of the players have the same issue ever since the "hotfix". Come on bungie, you can do better then that.

It's got split personality. The error codes I encounter have gone down dramatically. They fix some and others come up.

I can't play. Stupid error. Bungie do you realize that million people in Europe playing Destiny? Do you realize million cannot play Destiny because every 5 minutes removed from the game? If you can't fix it then million people want refund. This is huge.

Edited by noblex82: 12/20/2014 9:32:52 PMI changed the Settings for DNS in my router and used an public ip. and it worked for me till now. maybe UPC has DNS-Problems. no further anteater bee fly or whatever codes since 2 hours. Just 2 times quail as i tried to fly to the Tower, which seems an different error. Can somebody confirm that this worked for someone else?

Not now, not some patches ago when I had the same problem. I get kicked every 10 minutes today. With all the money we throw at you , you should be able to hire half-descent staff and servers. Get your things together! I enjoy the game, but with the crappy servers, its hard.

Hi flash this is getting tiresome!! I wonder have the U.S. Players encountered this problem , I think it's regional and if it is,I reckon it'll be harder to resolve.. Something in the update has increased jitter and latency issues to the point whereby the game is unplayable . Did they change the netcode which in turn has problems with certain ISPs, I'm in Ireland on 120mb UPC and am waiting for a reply from their rep which on a Saturday is asking a lot but UPC are aware of the issue but will kick it back to Bungie I reckon. Anyway I'll keep you updated as and when I hear more. So please can a few US players state if their game play is fine and if possible what latency they have. Many thanks in advance Rio

Well sux to be me, just bought the season pass 2 days ago and right after cant play..... Stupid dcs every 3 mins. Either i want a refund or compensation when the connection errors are solved. Atm i feel that Bungie stole my money. "Ohh you just bought stuff from us, look over there and bungie runs away with my money" Almost like a fake telemarker. If i just decide to stop playing, bungie still wins since i just spended 90 Euro on this game with season pass. They have the money and i have nothing
