Deej Deleted Tweet About Weekly Update
Slap those tin foil hats on people!
Multiple reports from people that Deej tweeted something a couple hours ago about the weekly update being delayed until tomorrow. Said they were crunching numbers for something "fun".
That tweet has since been deleted.
What a public relations mess the last two weeks has been. I was hoping for some info tonight that might entice me to come back to Destiny. I want to love this game but I refuse to keep being kicked in the balls by it.
However my reasons for leaving are not the point of this post!
What are your theories on the mystery of the deleted tweet? Ooooo... Welcoming both serious and ridiculous theories. Go!

Looking at the deleted tweet now I can see it says cruching instead of crunching.

Sounds like they will be interviewing the Bungie Accountant this week as the spotlight, he'll be going into detail on how his favorite destiny activity is sitting on the fan as his buddies turn it on and off... weirdly this is also his favorite real life hobby.

18 RepliesThe numbers crunching will be about the amount of people that bought the DLC and probably the amount of people that beat the raid. Promises of updates and that our voices have been heard. A spotlight on the player that fell off the tower the most. And some mail sacks about nothing worth reading. Then they will say that people will be working around the holidays. There will be no updates till after the new year and that there is a sale on merchandise on the bnet site just in time for the holidays.

2 RepliesMy guess is that the "stat crunching for something fun" will be no more than a show of random stats that the players have achieved up to this point. Something like "10 billion rounds have been fired. Atheon has been defeated a million times, etc." They may be rethinking that now that the DLC was shredded by reviewers and people are angry that hardly any real content was added outside of the raid. People don't like to see developers spending time on things that don't add anything to the game or fix problems.

20 RepliesGlimmer is OP, Cap is to be lowered to 8 glimmer. Icebreaker is OP, Ammo regen will now work in reverse. (If you do not fire it, you lose ammo) Gjallarhorn Wolfpack rounds are OP, they now track the Guardian who fired them. Due to the above changes, we accidentally nerfed a few items. This will be resolved sometime in the next few months, hopefully in time for the PS5 and XBox TWO. We also realised that we made an error with the Strike playlists and we accidentally made all strikes from level 18 to 26 available on all platforms. Only level 18 strikes should have been available on Xbox consoles. The others were meant to be Playstation exclusives. This will be resolved immediately. We have taken all of your feedback regarding glitches on board, this will be looked at and hopefully you should see less glitches from now on as we have removed all in game content except the Orbit screen. This means that you can no longer be returned to Orbit via an error screen. Destiny is a great success because of the players, and also that we at Bungie say so. See you all in orbit guardians.
