I feel like the inside of your ship should be the main menu. Need to change characters? Just go to orbit, enter your ship and select the guardian you want. Need to access armor or weapons you didn't bring with you? Go to orbit, enter the ship and grab the gear you need.

More vault space!!!

I have considered this too, and with a rudimentary understanding of computer programming, it really doesn't seem like it would be difficult to implement. A button on the orbit screen just links to the same place that the vault at the tower does.

Discipline, intellect, strength.. why can't a ship? I bet you everyone will do raids and hope for a new ship.. and not feel so let down every time u get one.. or when u get ur 17th one and just dismantle it.. u might think twice about keeping a ship.. I'm sure I'm not alone but having a full vault, and needing to store weapons and armour in other characters is getting very old.. and it's a bit of an inconvenience. Starting to get very annoying imo.. Come on bungie.. please help us out with these agonizing loading screens! This is my 2 cents worth.. What's your 2 cents? Any ideas on how this could work? The ships should have an upgrade system to allow you to do things in orbit. ie vault, crytarch, faction vendor for your favorite faction. Then you could buy more vault space and have something to spend glimmer on instead of just exotic upgrades. That sounds good to me. No matter the ship or character everything is accessible through the ship. Really as long as we get more vault space, I don't care where the vault is located

The whole idea of orbit should be eliminated too. It does nothing but act as a bumper between worlds. I'd like to just go from place to place and skip the whole useless thing.

Yeah I've wanted this for ages now, since the vault should be in our ship I think we should be able to use the postmaster to trade over items to other characters

I think this is a great idea. I play 2 characters often and it's a pain to go to the tower just to vault my weapons
