Young ahamkaras spine would still be useless if it reduced grenade cooldown, give us 2 nades, or don't bother, IMO. Every other class has an exotic or skill to get 2 nades. Hell Warlocks can even get spawn with nade energy AND 2 nades. Hunters have the worst nades overall, (pretty well accepted I think) the tripmine is the only good high damage one we have, giving 2 of them would make for interesting gameplay since we could potentially block off 2 exits at the same time, for a long duration. (not broken really though, since shooting sets them off lol) I'd also like to add ATS-8 Arachnid to the list.. All it does is allow for golden gun zooming in while using it.. Seriously, how often to do you need to zoom in with a golden gun? That's not worth an exotic slot.. Perhaps if it did "precision damage" when you zoom, that'd be worth a slot as it'd be good for PVE in that case, precision could be 1.5x damage, that'd still be less overall damage than the 4th shot from aclyophage symbiote, but since you zoom and hit further away, it'd be as good overall. Right now it's a joke of a helmet for the most part, aclyophage is clearly superior and hunters I know have been hoping for precision based gg damage for a while, its the only fully aimed super, with a class that is based on precision! Also, the hunter boots, radiant dance machines, garbage! Move quicker while aiming, seriously? That's already a perk on MANY guns, single point sling and for the most part it sucks, I can barely tell the difference to be honest.. Why waste an exotic slot when 1/2 the legendary guns have that as a selectable skill? Maybe if it gave you single point sling AND an agility boost and slide futher, that'd free up a choice on the bladedancer skill tree, potentially viable in that case. As it is, single point sling exotic, no freaking way. In case TL;DR I'd like to add [b]Young Ahamkaras Spine:[/b] increase tripmine duration AND provide an extra tripmine/grenade [b]ATS-8 Arachnid:[/b] Provide golden gun zoom as well as GG precision damge when aiming down sights [b]Radiant Dance Machine:[/b] Provide "single point sling" effect as wel as the "fleetfooted" class skill (faster spring+longer slide)

  • Or make is so the tripmine last longer. And also doesn't deal splash damage to you, in fact every class should get an exotic that takes away splash damage, from explosions so you don't kill your self. Well i guess not take it away, but makes you immune to it but make it so it can still deal splash damage. :3

  • I agree that Hunters should have an option for carrying a 2nd grenade since they're the only class that doesn't have access to that ability though a class ability or an armor. I even agree that the Spine would be the armor to put that ability on since it would fit with the flavor text on the item of 'Let me help you fill the world with teeth.' As for the Arachnid, the zoom function for Golden Gun may not be as universally useful as the Symbiote's 4th shot, but in Crota's End you engage a lot of enemies at very long distances and I can see myself using it for things like the fight with Crota over the Symbiote because being more accurate and connecting with my super when it matters is far more important than a 4th shot that may miss because I can't clearly see my target. I do agree that GG should have a precision damage bonus and perhaps the Arachnid helmet would be the place to put it. I don't want to comment on the Radiant Dance Machines because I don't have them yet and haven't had a chance to play with them. It's possible the movement boost is better than Single Point Sling(SPS) and if so it's well worth it. Even if it's only equal to SPS it's worth it cause it allows you to select a different upgrade on the weapon and still get the benefit as well as giving the benefit to weapons that don't have the upgrade. I'll agree that it seems a bit lackluster when compared to the other Hunter exotic armors at first glance, but do did the Knucklehead Radar when I first saw it. 'Who cares about Third Eye' I thought, but once I started using it I started depending on it and I really noticed its absence when I stopped using it. I can't say the same thing won't happen to me once I get the Dance Machines.

    I don't have boots either, if it's like single point sling though, that' effect is barely noticeable, I barely notice it at all, very subtle and useless for PVE for the most part. For some reason Bungie LOVES putting hunter "skills" on guns. Chain of woe, fleet footed, there are lots of them.. What part of the crota raid are you hitting enemies with GG long distance? Darkness is all close range, bridge, unless your trying to hit things from one side of the bridge to the other is close range. Arena is also pretty small, stairs to knights isn't zoom worthy, crota is 30feet tall, no zoom needed there. I have an ATS, I guess I should level it before I complain, but I just can't see getting a zoom being that good, to use it effectively you have to also choose over the horzion, but I really like chain of woe, unless I'm using fatebringer.

  • I almost never use Chain of Woe, having a 2nd Throwing Knife is much more appealing to me than extra reload speed from precision kills. Even Over the Horizon is more appealing because it gives a bonus to Recovery as well. But everyone plays differently too and my priorities won't be the same as everyone else' either :)

  • Yeah I do max recovery other than that skill on every build. I like a second knife, but I use the feat where precision kills reset throwing knives. As long as I'm getting super quick reloads with my hand cannons, I don't use the knife between reloads as much. I save my knives for spots where I know I can get the headshot, as the knife does really high precision damage, even more than my handcannon.
