keep getting kicked to orbit and getting flatworm / beaver

hi Bungie, I have a really good connection, 200Mb/s down and 20Mb/s up, NAT type 2 Have been experiencing flatworm / beaver as well as the "contacting destiny servers" message a LOT the last 2 days Had to quit a Crota raid last night as kept getting kicked. Also spending ages to get in and out of the tower and switching characters. EDIT: just got BEE error now, every time I try to go to tower I get kicked to orbit EDIT: got beaver error just now going to tower EDIT: finally got to tower, and it kept saying "contacting destiny servers", took my ice breaker from vault and nothing happened, it wasn't put in my inventory, then eventually the graphic appeared and it was in my inventory after a load of "contacting desting servers" errors EDIT: got kicked from trying to do Urzok public event in Skywatch with a fly error, was in a fireteam with 2 others, they had both got kicked to orbit when we first went down to cosmodrome EDIT: kicked from tower with beaver error (was in a fireteam with 3 others) EDIT: on Atheon hard mode, booted out with anteater, then getting multiple sheep, rest of fireteam booted as well, then kicked from game completely with weasel EDIT: finally got back in and got the Vex, Head, Speeder, and Energy after beating Atheon, so it's not all bad.

  • Bungie. This is an issue between you and UPC. Contact them and work with them to resolve the issue... No more scripted answers, actually investigate the issue.

    • Hi jarvistsmokin, I'm sorry for the various network errors you are receiving. It can be a bit tricky to figure out the underlying issue when there are different error types being seen, but I have a help article that may help do that: http://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12147 These steps will have you remove any potential sources of error from your home network, and test if the error is upstream from your home. If it is, then you may need some assistance from your ISP to better troubleshoot why Destiny network traffic is encountering errors.

bump, logged in this morning to check what Xur was selling and took 2 attempts to get to tower (kicked to orbit with beaver), then got kicked from tower twice once there, all in the space of 5 minutes this is all since the latest patch on Tuesday

          • First error I encountered was about 1600 PST on Tuesday 16th. 4 members of a Raid fireteam were kicked to orbit. All were UPC customers. 2 players on other ISP's remained connected. The 4 UPC players were dis-connected 3 or 4 times after that over the following 10 minutes or so. Since 1400 PST yesterday the errors seem to be almost constant. Help us please Bungie.
