You guys are all idiots. The loot in nightfall is not the reason for running it. Radiant light is the sole meaningful reward. Any reward on top of radiant light is a bonus

True radiant light is awesome but if that's all I got from doing it it wouldn't be worth it. I can level up gear and reps fast enough without it. Besides once we all get all 3 maxed at 32 with all gear upgraded it'll be late January or early February then House of wolves will be out and its all obsolete again so it doesn't make much difference.

Rep and xp gains are generally useless for players high enough level to do the nightfall because they will most likely have their favorite weapons/best armor already maxed out.

Yup. All of my armor is completely maxed out on my Warlock. I just need to level up my new weapons and I'll be good to go for the new raid.

The new raid is 3/4 bullshit, the first 2 parts are soloable through cheesing, everyone skips part 3 because there's no loot, and once you've beat crota it's just rinse and repeat theres no random element to it like the random teleportations on Atheon people can choose the same positions each time, not great in my opinion, the new raid is much too easy. Hopefully I'll be able to reach 32 by the time hard comes out and that might actually be a challenge.

Yeah, I want to get to 32 before the hard raid comes out. Once that comes out my main objective is to get the Necrochasm. I got the Husk today so that's step one out of the way.

Realllly useful when you ave everything maxed out. Exp and rep bonus really helps when you have to wait a full day to do your bounties that you kinda dont need unless you have new gear. all of those hours in between where this buff can be useful... just wasted. Nightfall is done for the high chance of exotics. The extra 2+ rep for patrol missions is sub par.

Well, your the one who's in need, I'm telling you the radiant light is the value. It does more than add 20% to patrols but that's apparently how you see it.

No. it was an example of how useless it is when you do not need it. The slight bonus to rep and exp only truly helps when you are upgrading new gear. And even then it isn't much. If you can finish your bounties within an hour each day... your daily, and your weekly on the day of the rollover(and the nightfall) ... the remaining usefulness of the buff is like i said, not much. But to each their own. I am not going to challenge your opinion because simply put, your opinion is not fact. No one is an idiot for not agreeing with you. Everyone values what they are rewarded differently. The damned info on the nightfall still says "unknown" like the virtue is some magical whimsical wonder no one knows about. If they have a different buff each week it would be interesting, but they do not.
