Shouldn't I be lvl 33 or is that just me?
Ok all my armor is lvl 33 light or better fully maxed out so far. Have exotic helmet at 36 light and chest at 36. Arms and legs at 33, so shouldn't I be lvl 33? I'm level 31and half? Before dlc I had to have all 30 light maxed armor to be 30. Now I have armor that is 33 plus but only 31? I don't get that?
But you could fill the voids of spaces and galaxies with the amount of shit I don't understand from this game or its makers? Exotic redos, new materials, and more and more of the same shit done countless times over for the same shit. Chatter white and shards when you need energy. Legendary Engrams that turn into useless shard. Get 21 motes of light before I get one strange coin. Etc etc etc etc....
Oh and making hunters a joke! This must be what fisting feels like? Should ask a hoe? Guess that would make bungie a pimp. Not the cool pimp either.

2 RepliesThe formula for each light level is 10+11(x-20) where x is the level you're trying to reach. Each light level is 11 higher than the last. That means level 30 needs 120 light and level 32 needs 142 light. This means that for level 30 each piece needs 30 light and for level 32 you need 5 additional light per piece plus an extra 2 light.

Okay mr special. What about when you're level 29? All of your gear can have 27 light to be that level. I don't understand why it's so hard to get that light levels on armor doesn't mean that'll be your level.

1 ReplyEdited by Schuzzle6utt: 12/19/2014 2:42:39 AMTake your current level. Subtract 20. Multiply by 12. That's how much light it takes to reach that level. So for me it's 12*(31-20)=132. Basically every level past 20 is 12 light. Hope that clears it up for you.

30 light on all items is enough for 30. 33 on all is 31, 36 on all is 32. The 30 light = 30 just happened to line up that way due to the requirement for a level. It takes 20 total for 21, then 11 per level until 30, where it goes up to 12 per level

4 RepliesYou need a certain number of light to reach a level. 120 light total to reach 30, 132 for 31 and 144 for 32.
