I agree completely with the points made in the article. That said I also think one of the biggest reasons so many of us are mad is because our disappointment and frustration has not been officially acknowledged by Bungie. At this point that's what I really want to see, how Bungie deals with the frustration of the players or just bury their heads in the sand and say nothing. It's time they say something Bungie. Let your players know that your listening, otherwise I and many others will gladly move on and remember this experience next time you roll out your next defunct game. Own up to your mistakes, listen to your players, and at least attempt to make it right for better or worse.

  • Exactly, and I think that you bring up an excellent point that Bungie needs to consider as they go forward with the design and operation of this game/franchise; other companies make games as well. It wouldn't be difficult at all to get another game and to never pick up Destiny again. If they want people to keep playing their game (i.e., giving them money), then they need to listen, acknowledge, and make changes to the game that don't punish the players.
