The game is fine, to the comments that say Destiny will be dead before Destiny 2 I tell you there is a fan base big enough to continue with this game, there will always be people who dont like a game, but you dont stop making a game because some people stopped liking it, you make it for the people who do like it, OP I respect your opinion, you no longer like the game and thats fine, the game will be there when and if you decide to come back. To those talking about the negative reviews online, maybe you should focus on making your own opinion and dont let someone tell you what you should or shouldnt think of this game.

I bought the game on release day but didnt get a chance to play it that day. I read reviews etc and seriously thought about taking it back for a refund. A day or two later I decided id give it a go and been hooked ever since. There will always be posts/reviews swaying people to stay away, but as you said. People will continue to get the game and make their own opinions. Xmas is a few days away, there will be another swarm of people starting their journey over the next few weeks. The people lost will always be replaced one way or another

Negative reviews online mean someone who is on the fence about the purchase is less likely to get it. This is a rather simple concept I shouldn't be explaining to you.

No, you actually DID say that. You said "ignore reviews" You know what reviews are? People's opinions to help you decide whether to buy the game or not. By ignoring reviews, all you HAVE is the demo... and if you just play the demo, you'd buy the game in a heart beat. You'd never know about the lack of content, awful decision by Bungie, bugs in end game, the story that disappears midway through the game, and a host of other issues that ONLY BY READING REVIEWS YOU WILL LEARN ABOUT. Does that put my first comment in context, dummy?

If you cant afford a game dont buy one. Dont buy a game and then complain it was too expensive or didnt have enough content, because you have opportunities to do research. Dont be mad at bungie because they didnt please you they tried making a game suitable for millions you aint the only -blam!-er alive. And fyi most the reviews i read are recycled bullshit that social media whores are recycling to make it seem like they are some how smart. They are not honest assessments of the game. Poor -blam!-s dont have the icebreaker so they are pissed. If you dont like it trade it in. Life aint that bad.

Okay let me put reviews in context... one of my favorite games got 2/10 review... I put 150 hours into that game (its single player) maxed out and 100% the game. I love that game... If i listened to the review i would have never played it, instead I played the demo (The game wasn't out yet) decided to try the full game, bought it loved it. Reviews are incredibly single minded. I no longer read reviewsthey set things in a negative image and skew your mindset on anything. You go in with knowledge thinking something is wrong and broken you are going to be wary and notices those more and also tend to skip the parts you might actually really enjoy. The Only way to know if you'll like a game and if it would be worth the 60$ investment to you is by playing it yourself. No one can tell you how much you are going to like something. More context? why sure! People love the walking dead and game of thrones, they get great reviews... personally i dont like them... they just dont do it for me. "BUT BUT BUT they have great reviews so i must like them!" is what you are saying. Someone may prefer that short simple story since they dont like following big complex stuff... and every peice of software has bugs... destiny's are not that bad. Reviews shouldn't be grading a game, they shouldn't be opinionated, they should be "Here is the game, this is what it does, if that sounds awesome to you go for it."

You didnt think about it like i told you so here it goes kid, i personally love this game and if i had read the reviews which are mostly written by butthurt entitled whiny people who think the world revolves around them and based my opinion on their opinion i would have most likely missed on the opportunity to play a game that i would have loved, you just never know until you try it for yourself, along with everything else in life, so sit down and shut your mouth..

They played the beta and say "oh my god, this is amazing" and then when the game came out, were SHOCKED by the overall lack of content and how they gave up on the story and left. If they had waited and listened to reviews, that was money they could have spent on other items. Get it? Or do I need to break out handpuppets?

Any of you play atari destiny is the shit.

Buying the game is the only to formulate your own opinion. Some of us prefer not to be sheep we believe in blazing or own trail. Knowing every single aspect of a game before it is released would be boring. End game bugs wont be found until the endgame is played. Do your research with previews, gameplay footage, interviews, etc., and invest your money accordingly. Having another persons judgement about a game sway your thinking happens too often. I read reviews bc im curious of another's "professional opinion," not because it should determine whether i am going to play it or not. And if youre concerned about wasting money on a game you havent played yet (not to mention the remarkable ability to trade it back in nowadays) then welcome to the real world. Its gonna happen, but if youre smart, it can be avoided.

I can be smart, and along with demos and talking with people who like the game, I'm also going to take reviews very seriously. Because I'm not a dummy who is intimidated by "professionals" who may think differently from me.
