Slam the hammer..... And to those that say oh its a developer problem its not our fault..... Its a glitch and exploit and breaks the entire confict. The hardest person to avoid damage from is completely sidelined playing Tebow. I would leave this lobby so i didnt waste a completion on the cheesiest of cheeses. That isnt even fun to play. But i guess that just like in life idiots will do anything to do less work. Thats the work ethic that drives mc donalds.
just like in life idiots will do anything to do less work. Thats the work ethic that drives mc donalds.
That's the work ethic which drives all organisms, and you should be glad we have it. Would any of our species would have left the cradle of civilization if we were obsessed with doing everything the hard way? Food for thought. Anyway, I hope Bungie fixes it faster than their track record with VoG. It's too much to ask for a completely bug-free game, but crap like this needs to be prioritized.

  • Just a thought..... Wouldnt leaving the comforts of what the cradle would have provided be the hard way to start anew? Just a flaw in logic. Yes human nature does involve taking easier routes but it doesnt involve taking your greatest opponent in life and crippling it to the point its no longer an opponent. Sure you could cheat the entire way through college to be a surgeon but the first bypass you do wont turn out well.
Wouldnt leaving the comforts of what the cradle would have provided be the hard way to start anew?
I'm glad you asked. I can see how you might think that, but no. Our ancestors most certainly migrated out of the cradle due to a combination of resource competition/scarcity and predatory pressures. There are a number of ways I can explain this, but the short version is, for those who emigrated, staying in Africa would have been more likely to result in death than leaving Africa. Settling new territory would have been the path of least resistance. If you want to discuss migratory pressures further, I'd be happy to oblige.
Yes human nature does involve taking easier routes but it doesnt involve taking your greatest opponent in life and crippling it to the point its no longer an opponent.
We actually have a robust history of decimating our environmental opponents. If you're interested, read up on the history of War and ethnic cleansing, wolves in Europe and North America (or other predatory animals), the Rocky Mountain locust, American bison, vaccinations, MRSA, herbicide resistant weeds, or just take a look around at our current concerted effort against disease and aging. As a species, we are intensely focused on destroying or (attempting to destroy) anything which works against us in some fashion. Obviously, this has lead to many unintended consequences, ecologically, economically, and socially. But, before I get carried away, I will admit that we're still really talking about gaming. I also want to be clear that I never intended to disagree with you about exploits needing to be patched or cheaters being dealt with accordingly (after all, we have our irl cheaters to thank for our recent economic downturn). I was merely adding some perspective to your blanket statement about work ethic. In my opinion, inventing a more efficient way to do something, doesn't really qualify as laziness.

  • That will never happen because they would lose 80% of their player base and would never sell another DLC or any of the follow ups

  • Acroding to their stats only 23% of gamers have completed the raid.... sadly your right the few remaining would leave and then there's be no one

Although I think this is "cheesy" and not challenging. Although I think that's it's exploiting a glitch and should be patched. Banning someone for it is way over the top. Might as well say ban the OP for showing people how to do it. Banning someone for finding a glitch shouldn't happen. If it was hacking, modding or breaking the game then yes but this hurts no one.

  • The atheon fight is to long ago. And that was a faulty npc mechanic (running from incoming damage) this is forcing something by an exploit. And I think it's unfair to people who do it right and work for it.

  • RNG based rewards are unfair to someone who works to do it the right way
