"we bought destiny as a videogame, not a subscribtion or a sort of package"
then you have obviously not payed attention to the gaming scene very much. You don`t buy a product, you buy a service. It`s the same on PC. If tomorrow Steam goes bankrupt or amazon, all the books and games in your library will vanish and you have no way to retrieve them.
Same thing with Destiny, if Bungie goes out of Business you won`t even be able to load the Tower. The Infrastructure for a massive game like destiny costs tons of money, so Bungie/Activision is constantly pumping Money into this game.
I´m always astonished how people like you, who obviously didn`t buy the expansion and only restrict themselves to a very small part of the game can judge: " only 2 more hours of gameplay, a new raid, only one new charachter in the tower, the nightfall and specific assault of the week taken away from those who didn't buy it... That does not cost 20€"
I already put 20+ hours into the Expansion and I didn`t even beat Crota, so why is it that I -who actually plays the new content- has a total different opinion than you?
"I also think that the game totally blocks solo players, the nightfall, the only activity with decent rewards that could eventually be done alone, with patience and skills, is now, thanks to one of the last patch, absolutely impossible to do alone. Solo players are totally left behind"
Not true, many Players have done the Nightfall already solo, look at this section:
http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Topics/0/1/0/Solo
More and more Players have discovered ways to even do parts of the Raid solo.

thnx for your answer. I understand your point of view. before being a ps4 player I'm a PC player, and I can tell you that i've never seen that with a dlc even on steam. I even remember studios OFFERING dlc, for exemple, with the game the witcher (first one): I remember being able to download a dlc for free that gave me 50+ hours of content. I still think this is UNACCEPTABLE to disable content to people who didn't buy the dlc. There will be 1 every 3 mounth, then you have to pay 20€ every 3 mounths to still be able to play what you were playing the past 3mounths? did you ever do that with another game? I don't remember any cod disabling content to those who didn't buy their dlc. Dlc is here to bring new contents, it's its function. It's not supposed to take things away from you, but to bring new ones. Bungie and Activision are huge, don't tell me they can go bankrupt that easily, they don't NEED our 20€ EVERY 3 mounth. They just realized that destiny could become a great money-making-machine. I saw that someone already corrected you, I bought it. and I really did all the content (except for the raid) in 2 hours. Thanks for the link, that can help. I also did the nightfall solo, but what I wanted to say (and I admit I didn't put good words on it, sorry if I still do also, english is not my actual language ;)) is that after the patch, it became RIDICULOUSLY harder, you have to use many many many (...) refills, approximately 5x more than before, spend more than 2hours on it. Bungie didn't care about their solo players at all by doing this sort of patch, and I thought that was a bit mean from them, solo players were not helped before, now they are even less. thnx for reading and taking time to answer!

You are welcome ;-)
I bought the extension pass, so i'm not talking for myself
He did buy the DLC. I think you got a bit too heated too quickly. Also, some of his points are valid, maybe not all, but his post is certainly not bad enough to try and shame him off the forums.

Edited by GouldBerg988: 12/16/2014 6:52:59 AMI am not heated at all, but I missed that part, so thank you for pointing that out. I am also not trying to "shame him off" (could you cite the part that gave you the impression?) I opposed 2 of his points: -only 2 hours of content -Nightfall can´t be done solo and showed him were he could get information about how to do the latter

Sorry, mate. I misread your post same as you misread his. For this reason I much prefer conversations in person. Take care.
