marijuana dui has spiked in states with legalization, so it's better than alcohol.

Now they actively look for it there. You can be stoned out of this world and still get through a roadblock if they are not actively looking for weed DUI. it would be a challenge getting through a roadblock that high but possible for seasoned smokers.

*facepalm* the overall rates, not a very specific, focused group of low impact, but the [i]overall[/i] rate of dui by marijuana has gone up. it's [b]tripled[/b] in WA.

1) Washington Post = liberal Fox News 2) this covers [i]only[/i] fatal accidents, not total DUIs. 3) this covers worries in Colorado only. 4) if tests can't give a good timeline on when or how high someone is, it makes marijuana considerably more dangerous than alcohol. alcohol breaks down much faster than marijuana and can be measured with a BAL test.

1. There are plenty of other sources. 2. I'm fine with more DUIs as ong as there are less accidents. Driving while high, while I don't condone it, it MUCH safer than driving while drunk. 3. The same goes for Washington and medical states. 4. You just claimed cannabis is more dangerous than alcohol, you lose all credibility. That is incredibly false.

but what is in your body can affect your performance. you can't show up to work drunk, so should you be able to be high?

I wouldn't care if someone showed up on heroin as long as they did good work. What they do in their personal time is none of my business. Hell, cops are sometimes allowed to work half drunk, look it up. Some people function better while high. It's no different then popping some doctor pills.

I'm neither liberal nor conservative, you're foolish for even acknowledging them. I also only use cannabis occasionally, and mostly for head aches. It's far superior to caffeine, alcohol and other drugs. The only cancer is yourself, luckily, cannabis cures cancer which is why it's going to become legal whether you like it or not. It has massively benefited the states that have. Your horrible views are finally being smacked down.
