on the bridge you can push off the gatekeeper with worlock if you dont kill him with the sword its very usefull

I find that the gatekeeper is very passive, if you stick to either the left or right side he rarely comes in for an attack.

are you sure cause i've done that part a few times and he always comes after me that's how i found out you can push him off its very easy just go to the edge and jump over him then toss a grenade in front of him and hes off i don't even attack him anymore

I tend to stick half way up the left or right side but I also stay on a high position so maybe that why he doesn't attack me much, but since only one spawns if your doing it solo, if you can kill it then all the better.
