Well that made up my mind about getting the dlc, I was already finding it harder and harder to see meaning in my playtime but this just shows me the expansion does nothing to help that

With the small amount of content released in the dark below, the amount in the house of wolves would have to be huge in order to meet the standards that they set for themselves pre-launch. My friends who don't play think that destiny 1 is just a test for 2

That is probably the best comment I've read yet. I said to my mate that when Destiny 2 hits, people will be saying that it will be the game that Destiny should have been. Save your money of the DLC and sell or trade your game. I wish I had.

lol, you know the 2 is only a marketing thing, right? your existing guardians go with you, its a continuation of the same game. same universe. same everything. talking about Destiny 2 like its a new game is really misleading yes, it will have a number of improvements, but its not a new game. sorry, just had to correct that

Yes, i do know that 2 is just a marketing thing. However, what nobody knows as of yet is what the second instalment will be called. For all we know it could be called Destiny: We Fooled You Again for all we know. This is why it is easier to refer to it as Destiny 2. Besides this, whether it is the same universe (whatever that may be), or whether it is a continuation, this game will emphasise on the story that the current game doesn't have. I believe that everything that should have been told with the current instalment will be given a lot more detail and depth, and through this, i believe people will say that the second instalment will be the game that the current one should have been.

I do hope another company can create the game we all wanted and thought we were going to get, but my faith in bungie and activision has vanished. I do hope that the remnants of the original bungie team from before decide to do it just to show that no one should compare the two

My feelings are that it's the second half of this game, where we will finally see Saturn and the other things mentioned at E3

And right now, their main focus is on creating the second instalment of this game and perhaps everyone who has a valid complaint about this game should hold their money back for at least a month afer its release. Show them that if they think they can f*ck us around, we can f*ck them around much harder. Sadly, i know that more than 90% of those with similar complaints as ours will still buy the game. Its in the nature of the modern gamer to complain about something they asked to be screwed over for. What incentive is there for games companies to not screw us over when most of the people on these forums, and others like it, will still buy their products regardless? Gamers need to own their fair share of the responsibility as we have all contributed to this situation. Regardless of developer, publisher or gaming format, only we can change how we are treated as gamers. They aren't going to do us any favours unless we force their hand, and hitting them in their financial pockets will be the simplest way of doing that.
