Exotic Bullshit Detectorupgrade: How to single out a Loudmouth on the forum with ease
Dear Fellow Guardians, who feel the need to feed us cock-and-bull-stories about how they made legend,
Take some time to fake your legend, remember anyone can check out your stats. Don`t insult your fellow guardians by claiming: I headshoted Omnigul in the Nightfall while my Team even wasn`t fully spawned. Put some effort into it, so it will be more fun for other Guardians to debunk your selfcreated Myths.
Here some tipps&tricks for anyone who enjoys exposing [b]Bullshit[/b]:
[b]The typical PvP-bigmouth [/b]will regularly post a scoreboard where he comes in first place getting nothing, while the Player with the worst kd on his team will get an Exotic. He usually will start his post with: "I regularly top the Scoreboard, so this picture shows that RNGesus is evil," He doesn`t even realize that it takes max 15 seconds to debunk his statement by going in his medal score and checking "on the bright side" and "the best around". He didn`t made the post to "proof" that RNGjesus is evil, he wanted to get our admiration how big of a PvP-Shark he is. Guess what :he is just another goldfish who tried to get his 10 seconds of Fame.
[b]The typical PvE-bigmouth[/b] will regularly claim: Nightfall solo is easy, done it under 20 minutes, Hard Raid is easy done it under 45 Minutes etc. Then when you check out his stats and asking him about his bad kd in Raid or why there is no scoreboard of his Solo-Nightfall he will make up wild stories how he switched characters during Nightfall while his buddy came in to prevent the wipe but then left again etc.
He will also say sth like: "[b]How much of a Looser are you to check out my stats?[/b]" (Thats a dead giveaway btw, it is only topped by "locking" your stats, making your profile private, after being exposed as a Loudmouth)
He will also regularly moan about almost anything in the game and claiming a refund, despite the fact that his stats say that he plays 3+ hours a day since Launch.
[b]I dare anyone to feed me now his own self-made Bullshit story. I will grade it on a Bullshitscale from A to F[/b]
But remember: In the end Math always triumphs.

I´m sorry for having not the necessary faith in his statements. (Also I will have to upgrade my Exotic Bullshitdetetcor)

2 RepliesI one-shotted Crota with the No Land Beyond, by hitting his secret weak point, on his spine,which causes an instakill on him. You won't find it on my stats though because I did it on my 'other account' ;)

20 RepliesThe thing about soloing Nightfalls is, for the most part, it's totally possible; but it's also totally [i]pointless[/i]. In almost every case, every enemy down to the weakest trashmob is packing f*ck-you-and-die damage thanks to the burn, there are more enemies, they shoot more, at least one additional enemy type has an overshield, and anything tougher than a peon trashmob can 1HK players with Lightswitch (including players 1 level over the mission difficulty level). The almost-inevitable answer by most players is to hide back at maximum range, in safe-rooms and similar areas, camp-sniping everything. The whole affair becomes not a test of skill, but a test of patience. It's the definition of not-fun. Nightfalls with teammates are wholly different. You've got some resiliency since your buddies can rez you if you get kacked - but you don't want to be a burden on the team, so you're trying to pull your weight and not die. But since everyone can back each other up, you can fight out in the open (for the most part) and take down enemy waves MUCH faster. Sometimes you do have to take cover (like when the Wizards swarm out in this week's strike), but generally you can lay some smack down on fools. My average time soloing most NFs is probably 30 minutes or more. With buddies along, it's way less - 20 minutes at the very outside, typically less. Plus you can shoot the sh!t while you play, tell jokes or troll the enemies you're fighting, melee each other in the back of the head, and other shenanigans. It's just more fun, and more productive. That's one of the reasons I try to be available to friends for NF runs even if all my toons have already done it for the week - it's just the right thing to do. I get happy when a friend rolls an Exotic even if I get like 5 Strange Coins or something.

Another tip I'd recommend is for whenever people are asking for a gun to be nerfed/says a gun is better than another gun, check their grimoire cards and see if they actually have the exotics they are talking about. I've seen many times people compare two guns and state that one is better without even having the other exotic.

I soloed vog hard mode with a level 1 warlock and a shot gun that's does 2 damage oh annnnd I did it in 12 minutes. Oh oh and I've never ever died in pvp.

6 Replies30+ raid completions with 4 different characters(deleted a Hunter, much to my current regret. He was also my PvP main. Made another Warlock to speed up the raid gear process.). Was the primary relic holder on Atheon in almost every raid. Joined a group of randoms and beat Crota in about 5 minutes. In PvP I usually get between 15-25 kills, but I'm one of those guys who charges into battle, so I get killed a lot as well(thus the 1.15 K/D). I own 18/20 of the original Exotic weapons and 18/18 of the original Exotic Armor. Can't get Gjallarhorn or Hard Light. I had 1918 kills with a 14.75 K/D my first Crota's End run. Which lead my fireteam by about 400 kills.

1 ReplyI am a legend of PVP. They call me "Whoosh" because that is the sound of all the oxygen rushing past everyone's heads in the game towards me because of how much I suck. In PVE I am a God of running back and forth in the same exact spot to complete bounties. I am so extraordinarily lazy that I cannot be bothered to hop on my fake hover bike and travel to a different area of the fake map. I have also been known to be so antisocial as to spend 15 minutes leaving and reloading a patrol just to get a zone with no other players in it when I only need one mission to finish off a bounty. I know brutal honesty wasn't on your list...but I have never found lying to be very lucrative plus I'm not very good at it.

I wouldn't call myself a pve loudmouth, but those statements are true lol.. And the hard raid one is only true with a good group. Not sure bout soloing nightfalls anymore as well however. The level cap made it a bit more difficult. Depends on the burn I suppose.

I do some cool stuff from time to time. I consider myself a good player. I probably care more about my KD in most things more than I should because I don't want people who I disagree with on the forums trying to use it to invalidate my argument. Does this make me a bad person? Lmao.
