Your opening statement is very true; however, the argument can be made that change does not arise from acceptance. There has to be middle ground. I believe a vast majority of people (that post on the boards anyway) fit into a grey area with Destiny... they are disappointed by the state of the game and expansion, but have been longtime fans of Bungie's work, as such they want to give feedback to shape the game into what they had hoped it would be.
The frustration comes from continuous misguided and downright baffling design decisions that Bungie seems to continue to make. The more they attempt to fix/add content, the more issues and complaints that arise. Then to be told every Thursday "We hear you" but continue to make the same mistakes, it is irritating. Yes the game is evolving... but Bungie doesnt seem to grasp that in most player's eyes they are playing 'catch up' and that it is not happening nearly fast enough for players to stick around.
