Upgrade Options for Old Legendaries!!!
Hey Bungie, hey DeeJ,
Please Read the following idea - don't punish us.
Upgrade 300 legendaries via tasks (like exo bounties) handed out by the gunsmith. This way that buddy would have a meaning beyond lvl 5.
...Our weapons deserve an upgrade you can't deny it. We've put soooooo much effort into your game so give us something back.
Upgrade lvl 30 legendary armor to lvl 31 via tasks (like exo bounties) handed out by your class mentor. this way we still would need the new raid gear to reach higher levels, but our gear wouldn't be that useless as it is right now.
...Also our armor deserves an upgrade to spread some more customized looks.
Just a thought but having under performing raid weapons makes me sad. if you're affraid that vog could be too easy with upgraded oracle guns you also could remove the oracle ability in return to upgrade them.

I was hopefull at the idea of new DLC raid weapons and armours, but the fact that an un-upgraded DLC Rare starts at 270 dmg to 290 max, with legendaries available to purchase maxing 330ish.. The loot from the VOG is now useless because you can buy better than it straight after reaching the soft-cap. I know newer DLC releases better and higher rated gear, but when you can buy from a vendor equipment thats better than everything except new Raid, its not right. I can't think of one other RPG that you can buy end game equipment, thats better than one of the two end-game-raids. The last thing I expected was that...
