Will you buy Destiny 2? - discussion.
well will you? based on the way they've treated the franchise and it's userbase thus far.....
please state why or why not.
let's all have a healthy discussion about this game and it's future...we get to decide it after all....we'll talk with our wallets!!
personally i am done with this franchise after House of Wolves comes out.....never have i ever been so disappointed in a game as i have been with Destiny. and what makes it worse is the sheer lack of content and lack of variety in the little content we did receive.
everyday we play over the same missions and bounties, and the DLC has not lessened that monotony.
any other game that would hve shipped with the little content that Destiny had shipped with, would have been ridiculed by the press. but wonders never cease in the gaming industry.
Destiny short-changed us plain and simple.

Bungie's makes great games these posts make no sense if you hate the game just put it down, but that's you. I for one have recommended this this game to 3 people and all 3 love it. All this complaining needs to stop play the game have fun, get some friends and play pve or pvp you will gets some laughs I know I do.

Sure it had problems in the beginning only because millions of people jumped on and fully played. I used to play COD this has so much more. I don't have to camp with a BAL and hope for a kill. Seriously how much is enough! Compared with other $60 games this wasn't your monies worth? Please... I want a 30tb game to last 40 years. Lol

2 RepliesAbesolutely not. They have proved to all of us that they dont GAF what the community wants and only care about fixing cheeses. FFS we have requested more vault space in masses since november and here we are 3 months later with nothing even "in the works". If bungie steps up and starts legitimately listening to their community, then I wiuld gladly buy destiny 2 and every DLC it has to offer. If they dont, im afraid my money stops at the season pass I already purchased.

1 ReplyIf it's going to be the same chopped up story line, probably not. The partial story, huge plot holes finally caught up with me. There is enough information out there clearly explaining how the story started out complete, the ultimately got shredded. Whether A-vision drove it or not. It's now the "elephant in the room" for me. If Bungie does the same thing on two, I won't get it. It won't be worth my money.

Most likey not. I'm 30, I've been playing COD since it came out on pc and before it was popular. Same shit, different game. Only this game has too many problems. They want to release this game half finished and make shit up as they go. "Oh we'll fix this once we've got enough feedback and see how players handle it". B.S. Do you understand how many issues there are with this game and which ones take priority? Mostly cheeses, then nerfs, game balancing,.... but then what about the important issues? Still no fixes for vog and they are aware of the problems, but yet bungie and their clan enjoy making videos of the layout of venus. So yeah, I'll spend my money and time elsewhere

It will be tempting but I won't for the way they treated customers. The dlc was a joke. Only the raid was new. The rest, the strikes and missions were already in the game with just different enemies added

I'll probably most likely buy it. Because I learned if you just play desting here and there, the game will still be a lot of fun. Every game will be tiresome if that's the only game you play. So yes, I'll pick up a copy of Destiny 2, because this game might've been the start of something great. It might be just to get the mechanics down, and truly learn how a MMO (or whatever people consider this) works.

The simple enough checklist is: Sci-fi FPS or action/adventure Something new other games haven't done (for me, this was strikes in Destiny and I would love to see them evolve further) Story telling which leaves room like a book. Gives you subtle clues and hints, but when you dive in with laser eyes you see things you never knew about. For all the complaints by the younger gamers out there I typically find the best people who play video games do not stick around with just one. It's the fun with friends and competitive skill set to do something really difficult solo which makes me stick with a game. Otherwise, it's just achievement hunting. Final fantasy, Deadpool, Two Worlds, Halo 4(this was my last game for Halo unfortunately though. Can't agree with where the franchise is going and how it is boring to me now.), Lord of the Rings, and Planetside just to name the games for consoles I like are why I can constantly drift from Destiny for maybe a day or two but in the end? I just can't get over killing a wizard as a warlock and going, "Sooooo... does this mean I'm banished from the magic club?" /s

4 RepliesIf who ever says they are done after HOW they need to keep to that promise and show bungie that we are serious, they need to listen, hire bigger staff and fix problems asap, and more more content. Don't sell us stuff that's on the disc and stretch your expansions to milk out time. Bungie made its cash and gave us minimum imo. Next time they should know how to deliver and listen to us, we are making them a paycheck to go home too. Sad how they say we made 500 million but none of that money went into good resources at least it does not seem like they used it wisely. Fun game but dries out fast time to time cause of glitches, dried up content and adding or modified things people did not ask for.

No! Even if hell has frozen over! Even if they released the game they promised the 1st time around! (As within a week or two they'd have nerfed this shit out of it) in fact even if they paid me to play it! I still wouldn't waste my time again! Promised story still non existent! every patch contains a pve weapons nerf! Toddlers with adhd could of made a more coherent game!

I' m glad they released last gen version. Can't play it on the one. Kicked out repeatedly...like 30 times a night. 360 maybe a couple. My whole thing is PS getting 2 more strikes than xbox and charging xbox users the same price as ps. BS!!!!!! Xbox users made bungie who they are. There not hurting Microsoft. There hurting their fans. In order for me to buy the next to expansion.....they need to change their greedy ways.
