Because of you vex was nerfed, along with auto rifles, and fusion rifles. Your complaining is getting old. Cry babies are not the community they are nothing but a nuisance and a plague to this game!!!

It's people like you that ruin PvP and PvE by crying out nerf every time someone kills you with a gun you don't have. But as soon as you get it you'll be saying it doesn't need a nerf. GTFO.

Two shots plus burn equals a kill. 1- its two head shots to be able to do that. If you dont think that takes any skill then youre just dumb. 2- hawkmoon can kill you in two shots without the burn. Again, its headshots that matter here. But the hawkmoon can one shot you and thorn cant. Hawkmoon has 3 chances in a single magazine to get a magic bullet, thorn doesnt. Hawkmoon also has a higher impact but slower rate of fire. Thorn isnt op you're just sick of getting killed by it. But if they nerf it and you start getting killed by red death or bad juju more than thorn, you will be on here crying about those weapons too. Funny how that works, isnt it?

2 RepliesPetition to nerf butt hurt thread posters with three of the same classes. Since when has getting two consecutive head shots not count as skill? People act like u shoot them twice in the leg and the poison kills them. Quit bitching it's just a game.

Prob doesn't have the skill to get one. When the opportunity comes to get one you need to just do it and then you will see that kills are not as easy as you think they are with it. But it will make you a better player for sure. I think that a little mote power with the exotic bounties is appropriate, otherwise why do they even exist? But back to me, my thorn doesn't make me a better player or get me more kills just saying..... And btw nice crying you have officially joined the I suck and got killed by something please nerf it baby parade...... No really Thorns can not be getting you so much so often that you are forced ti post about it....could they?

When I use the hawk moon or oversoul edict in ironbanner I do pretty well 1v1 against a thorn, I don't believe it needs nerfed.... Majority of PVP players use a thorn and when the good players out of this bunch kill you all you people blame it on the gun. GTFO

Welcome you must be new here. In destiny there is a patented system in place called "the tear bucket" once filled a weapon will be nerfed take the vex for example. This weapon filled the tear bucket at a record breaking speed and was nerfed into oblivion yet still runs strong. Just hope the bucket fills quicker... Or use red death

1 ReplyNeither does Gally but that isn't nerfed. There are plenty of guns that are great. Thorn is hard to get, and the reason I got mine was because it is good. If you think it's so easy to use then use it, I'm sure you will change your mind.

I play crucible allot and surely there are tones of noobs players play this mode and they killed the game with their whining. If your not that good stop playing now or get over it. I don't know why bungie listen to those people when 90% are none skilled players.

No nerf needed. Thorn was garbage before the buff. Just get one and fight with it. I use thorn, vex, juju, and hard light in the crucible. All are great weapons and have their strengths and weaknesses. I would add hawkmoon to the list but I'm still missing it. We need to stop nerfing guns in general. My suros was amazing now it collects dust because of the nerfs. Just work on strategies to beat thorn users.

Not sure about the no skill bit, but if you're standing still long enough for me to casually send 2 rounds into your head, you deserve to die as I slowly walk away like a boss. But seriously, I don't use it that much but I don't think it is too overly represented in crucible so I vote leave it be.

Here is the history of the thorn to my knowledge. "Buff!" Gun gets nerf (It kinda needed it) "Buff!" Gun gets buff (It's just fine now) "Nerf/buff!" Gun gets buff (This gun is quite strong now) "Nerf!"

It's only a two shot with both being headshots, plus if you use red death or suros you'll more than likely survive if you kill them.
