I'm curious if you are a defender titan at atheon and your in the middle shooting. If you start taking splash damage to the point where one more hit will kill you do you through your bubble up and guaranty survival of you and your team or do you hope you just don't die. The entire group I was with seems to think you should never place it anywhere but the back for weapons of light then leave it there.

If you place the bubble behind ur team you can take splash damage and cause a team to wipe.

Never use the middle platform. Always go right to the back and if you have 2 defender Titans, get them to place WoL and BoL on top of each other on the side and just concentrate on Atheon.

Edited by The Snow Foxx: 12/5/2014 1:57:56 AMI've always had the bubble in the back. That way if you take splash damage it's a simple step back into the shield to survive. That way people can still shoot that arent taking damage and anyone who is can survive.

By the time he said it I stopped listening to reason cause i was mad. But to be fair I didn't feel like it was the safest route you saying it gives me a more confidence in it. I start ranting here its longer than intended so you don't have to read it is basically the events leading up to my question. I just like to be safe, I don't feel like that's something to be mad at. The group I was running with was not my usual group and they were very disrespectful because I was their filler. I did do what they said as its not my group. I am very cool headed I don't get mad if somebody -blam!-s up I just give a bit of advice if I feel it could have helped in the situation if they give a angry remark back I let them know its fine I'm not mad nobody's mad lets just get it right. But if somebody gets angry at me for not -blam!-ing up my rage meter hits the ceiling. Our last wipe was because the relic shield dropped and I didn't throw up my bubble because I was told not to I let them know that's what happened. one guy who threatened to mute me then threatened to leave I told him do it and he did. We were at atheon for at least an hour they had a major problem with my bubble they didn't seem to care about all the things that caused repeated wipes. I got off they got a new filler tried for at least another half hour and still couldn't do it. Sorry for the rant you can probably tell I was quite rattled and like I said I don't get rattled I can deal with the disrespect but they took it to another level and it blew my mind. Thank you if they put it like this from the beginning no hate or insults I wouldn't even be mad. the response I got was "dont do us that favor."

Those sorts of decisions just have to be made while your olaying, just like 'should I drop the sheild and shot that oracle' or 'should I super atheon before dropping the bubble'. Every raid is a little different, sometimes you'll drop that bubble and save everyone, sometimes you'll put it up and kill 2 people who just fired their rocket into your bubble.

No they wouldn't fire rockets cause they are in the relic shield. In my eyes its like this oracles take priority then your life then dealing damage. If I am even close to dying sure if your not at atheon I could risk it and not pop it but I say why risk it. It's the same thing at atheon people say to step back, I assumed previously you would likely die before you got there. apparently it works just fine. I just would rather not risk a person dying and really I can throw another bubble up at the back again with in like 3 seconds so everyone can continue shooting. It's also kind of messed that this can even be debated since its a bug that causes it to happen.

Typically we value staying alive above all else. I'd rather go through the Gate one extra time then wipe and start over.
