*Urgent* Spread the Word *Urgent*
The only way things will get done and your voices to be heard is to take action. You have already seen how slow it takes to get things done when you do it how THEY WANT YOU TO. You post threads, you reply to DeeJ....Not efficient and they don't do exactly what you want.
The time is NOW. Starting next reset and the release of DLC 1 on Tuesday, calling for all destiny players to put down your controllers until they stop the madness. They will brag about their numbers in the new raid the following week if you follow suit. Numbers are what matter most. They have the DLC sales, they have the online traffic...things are looking good for them. You can't get a refund, so your only option is to HALT PLAY. This won't only bring attention to the dlc issues. We can use this action to bring light to the rest of the major pressing issues that we have about the game.
This is part 1 of the change. You must take action for it all to work.
The following steps will be DeeJ to come back next week when we have their attention and ask every player to comment on the 3 most pressing issues with the game. Bungie must then take the top 5 consensus answers and deliver response and or solutions in a fix within 1week from from DLC launch. Going forward every major idea from bungie must be ran through the community within an appropriate grace time to allow for the players to give feedback prior to launch. Also bungie will acknowledge all common complaints with response in a timely matter.

Heh, I bet you believe people will vote with their wallet when it comes to overpriced cell phone contracts, internet bills, shopping on thanksgiving etc. It all works in THEORY, but when an individual decides if it's worth the inconvenience for them personally, they will not act and will instead rationalize to themselves that other people will do it, and really, what do they count for (similar reason for why people think they can throw their vote away in elections, after all, what does one vote matter).

1 ReplyAre you an idiot? Of course this is how it could work but NOBODY is going to actually do it. This is a very small very hardcore subset of Destiny players on this forum. Most of us have level 30's many have 3 level 30's to think that we won't play the new content to make a point about what exactly? I have no idea what you want out of them. At this point we all know what the game is and if we want to play more or not. Is this game flawed? Yes in so many ways. Is this game one of the mechanically best shooters I have played? Yes. Will I be playing the expansion day one? No doubt in my mind. Bungie has been changing and improving the game continuously. I know all of us day 1 people speak fondly of The Loot Cave but that was some serious bullshit caused by bad incentives. This game is still flawed but they are working on it and the new raid looks great. So please stay off the servers on Tuesday and make it more stable for my team and I as we take on Crota and his minions.

You do realize that even if EVERYONE reading this doesn't play DLC on the 9th, that's only like 5% of people playing the game. Next time, use your brain before coming up with one of there brilliant ideas.

1 ReplyLOL... Thats funny. People have tried this and it never works. Alot of people don't mind the changes Bungie has made. Some even like them. The voice of the people on this forum that are unhappy is actually a small portion of the Destiny community. When something changes we have a group of people that come here and whine. Some even state the thry will not play Destiny again. But the majority if not all of them sign back in and play. So you can put your controller down on the 9th but you will be in a very small group.
