Exotic Weapon Ideas

Hi Community and Hopefully Bungie, Here's a thread made to post your ideas for exotic weapons. Here's mine: Brewing Storm - exotic arc Handcannon It would basically have the shape of Fatebringer but the color scheme and lighting bolts like Thunderlord "Winds can be stilled, oceans can be calmed, but none can stop the storm with in!" [spoiler]For the stats below, 1 is the lowest and 10 is the highest[/spoiler] Magazine: 4 Rate of Fire: 3 Impact: 9 Range: 5 Stability: 6 Reload: 8 Upgrade tree: Row 1: Arc Fan fire (maybe, probably not) Row 2: Soft Ballistics Linear Comp Accurate Ballistics Row 3: Third eye Row 4: Send it Field scout (increases mag from 4-10) Perfect balance Row 5: (unique buff) Brewing Storm: Precision kills cause enemies to leave behind a storm cloud, causing 3 lighting bolts to shoot out a nearby enemies. Then of course, the bs damage upgrades that you put in where needed Reason for such a low mag is because it has "lightning speed" reloads. [spoiler]Tell me what you guys think! Sounds better than Fatebringer huh?[/spoiler] Edit: I changed mag size (7 to 10 w/ field scout) Edit: Someone nechrobumped this Edit: At this point i would just love a fatebringer again y bungie y!

Row 1 Solar Light Arms(new perk: allows +3 Character Agility) Row 2 Linear Compensator Soft Ballistics Smart Drift Control ROW 3 FireFly ROW 4 Perfect Balance Field Scout Armor Piercing Rounds ROW 5(unique perk) Sharp Theory: If you hit two precision shots with this gun? Then next 3 shots will shoot out three thorns with the shot. Damage Uphrades

  • They could make a Bow from the Taken faction [spoiler] The bow would be called the taken queen Fire rate: 5 Impact: 6 Stability: 2 Reload: 4 Elemental damage: Solar or Arc Acquisition: Through the taken king DLC Perks: - armor piercing rounds - snapshot - explosive rounds - queens wrath( The more precision shots players get the more fire rate and stability you get)[/spoiler]

  • Exotic fusion sniper - Battering ram "Opening this may require some force, allow me?" Rate of fire/charge(no charge delay; like vex) - 7 Impact - 3 Velocity - 9 Range - 8 Stability - 10 Reload - 4 Mag - 3 (1 fusion bolt per round) Arc Hawk eye Tracking Scope - boosts range, penalty to stability and reload. Tracking is enabled with Juggernaut Mulligan - missing a shot has a chance to return ammo directly to magazine Flared Magwell - Reload this weapon even faster Field Scout - max ammo capacity 3 to 6 Exotic perk, Juggernaut - Bolts fired from this weapon over-penetrate targets. Bolts track targets. Tracking is more aggressive at close range and against moving targets. Hidden Perk - occasional firefly (like thunderlord)

  • Sounds good as an exotic but take off some stuff and make a solar hand cannon ( legendary or exotic) [ perfectibility legendary] would make the game better so u don't go 8-0 and get hit by 10 tons of lag and lose in trials

  • Heretic - Exotic Arc Auto Rifle Desc: "The weight of your heresy will stay your feet, and you will be left behind" --Stats-- RoF: Medium Impact: Medium Range: Short Stability: Max Reload: None ---Perks--- --Row 1-- Arc Damage Plasma Rounds: "This weapon shoots plasma projectiles" --Row 2-- Normal Stuff --Row 3-- Army of One --Row 4-- Extended Mag Send It Armor Peircing Rounds --Row 5-- Exotic Perk, Left Behind: Deals more damage to damaged enemies, and regenerates super faster if multi-kill is achieved.

    • All I've come up with is an exotic perk for a shotgun where it fires full auto with high stability and reloading one shot fills the mag, if anywhere cares to come up with a name, full stats and such feel free. Just thought it was a cool perk idea

Main upgrades: -Lockpicker (anything that requires holding square goes faster, faster fire rate, and melee recharges faster) -Vaultbreaker (carry an extra grenade, draw more enemy glimmer, kill oracles faster) Weapon may come from vault of glass on hard mode.

Weapon type: dual hand cannons Name: the twins Description: born together, stay together Stats: fatebringer Mag size: 12 (each) Ascetics: the one in your right hand is silver and pulsates with solar. The one in your left hand is obsidian and pulsates with void Base perks: sleight of hand: carry two handcannons Obsidian: this handcannon deals void damage Silver: this handcannon deals solar damage Row 1: rangefinder Row 2: send it, flared magwell, field scout (for both) Row 3: cant be seperated: this weapon has incredible biotite accuracy (like your aiming down sights, but you're not :)

            • Arms of Thel "What will you have me do?" Exotic Perk: "By The Blood of Our Fathers" Killing an enemy with a melee attack has a chance of refilling Primary, Special, or Heavy ammo.

                  Gun- blood hound "This weapon smells the fear it finds in its enemies" Weapon type- scout rifle Rate if fire- 4 Impact-7 Range-9 Reload- 6 Perks aren't specific but it has third eye, zen moment, and explosive rounds

                • I honestly think this idea is cool, but too op. With such high reload AND impact, and with field scout leading to 10 bullets, that's pretty darn op. Also the stability is great. This gun would be a dream to have, but I think to op

                  • Dude that sounds a 100xs more OP than thorn and last word basically combined. Lightening bolts that shock enemies around it? That's like inserting the Titans fist of havoc capabilities into a hand canon I like the name and the stats but not the perks unfortunately.
