The real problem is that that gear was a worthless dead end that wasted ascendant materials. This change helps you by making it more difficult to buy that gear. The thing that gets me about the exchange is that they gave you 5 marks for 50 materials. Now that they're selling materials it is 10 marks for 20 material. Greedy pawn shop basterds.
