Add value to the ships and sparrows
Am I the only one who wishes that ships and sparrows had some sort of value when they are scrapped. There is nothing more disheartening for me than completing something like the hard raid only to receive yet another worthless ship that i just dismantle immediately, same with the shaders. We have to spend glimmer and time earning these items but when we are done with them they have absolutely no material value. even a little glimmer similar to weapon dismantling would help ease the process and give some purpose to finding ships and ship engrams. Not a massive issue but one I think would be easy to solve and beneficial to the game.

Yeah, I have the same issue. The first 2 missions in the story even talk about how important ships are to a guardian and when you talk to the shipwright it's a bid deal to find the blueprints out in the wild. But then you get your 2nd and 3rd and 4th Fangs of Nyx ship plans and you realize it isn't worth anything when you have to scrap it for space. It's not even worth taking the plans back to the shipwright, you might as well scrap them immediately. The fact that it's so rare and valuable in story terms but doesn't translate into any value at all when it comes to the in-game economy makes NO SENSE. At a minimum it should be worth the same as a Silken Codex or whatever major/ultra drops you redeem at the Cryptarch. But since ships plans seem to be even rarer than that, I'd say it should probably be worth more. It's just another minor detail that should get addressed in the future. Hell, I'd even love to see something like the shiprwright offering better color combinations on the rare ships after you sell one back to her or something. (Cause seriously, the brown is terrible - hopefully you can skin these rare ships someday in the future.) And if you could sell ships back to the Shipwright it'd give more of a reason to visit her too.
