The game is fine. Theres crap loads to do. If you take your head out of your ass you'd realise that. How many missions, weapons, armour pieces, vendors etc is in this game...sh!t loads. Compare it to other games. Bungie went above and beyond what 95% of the other games available have done. If you don't like the game, then fair enough. Move on. Stop crying.

Quote where OP was remotely hating on Destiny. You Desticles are absolutely hilarious. "Ubisoft is offering free DLC!" "OMFG STOP COMPLAINING U BITCH LOL"
-
I wasn't able to play most of the week due to my fu¢king awful work schedule trying to turn me into a loathsome casual, and as a result, most of the weekly "content" went uncompleted. Until today. I had the day off for Thanksgiving, and because I had nowhere to be, I spent the day gaming. Three days worth of bounties, the Weekly Heroic and Nightfall strikes, Patrols, etc., all done in one day. And that's after I spent half of it working on the Titan I just started up. You want to tell me, after I got a weeks worth of gaming done in less than 12 hours, that Destiny is full of more content than nearly any other game on the market? I hope you're trying to be funny, because that's the stupidest thing I've heard in quite a while; I'm laughing, but it's not with you.
-
Yes the dailies can be done in a....day. Crazy I know. Did you get all your raid gear in a day? Did you get to IB rank 5 in a day? Did you get all the exotic armor and weapons in a day? Have you ranked up factions got their shaders and different and better versions of their guns in a day?
-
No, but the fact remains that doing what is supposed to be a week's worth of content within 12 hours with time to spare is not indicative of the game being 'full of stuff to do.' If you didn't purposely miss the point just to be adversarial and 'edgy', you might at least appear to understand that. Too late for that now, I'm afraid. Good luck extracting your head from your own a$$, and enjoy being muted.

Sarcasm?
-
Normally I can't see sarcasm in text, but this is just oozing sarcasm! My turn! I agree you can do so much in this game by doing the same thing over and over and over and over!!!!!!!! It's literally limitless to how much you can do in destiny!!!! I think I just used all the sarcasm I had left for 2014.....
-
Mate, are you sure you're playing the same game as the rest??? Crap loads to do??? Compare it to other games???? Missions, weapons, armour, shitloads???? I'm pretty sure you're not talking about Destiny here.
-
Apparently there is something about the game you like, you have played 195 hours with one character and 95 with another and 60 something hours on another. That's alot of time on a game you clearly "don't like"
-
I do like the game and I used to love it. Why do you think I was crazy and stupid enough to pre order it 9 months before the release. The thing is, as with many other gamers, there was nothing else out there at the moment. Have you noticed any changes since AC, GTA, CoD, Far Cry are released, Destiny is dying. If you don't believe me ask Deej to post the numbers of active players today and from two or three weeks ago.
-
Only the douche bags have left. Destiny gets better and better as each entitled super nerd gets bored enough of trolling to delete this app. Can't wait until they moved on to "the next best game ever," ready to scorch that when it doesn't turn out to have infinite content.
-
LMAO shit loads to do? You mean a small amount of things to do that you have to do 10 thousands times. wanna upgrade a my new autorifle!! GREAT...run in circles for a hour or 2 getting upgrade materials. o0o0o new armor!!??!!...run in a circles...OMG NEW ROCKET LAUNCHER...run in circles. Vendors were cool...at lv 12, only vendor I ever use is the gunsmith..for ammo Above and beyond? I think you mean bare minimum.
-
Edited by PapaKimchi: 11/28/2014 4:49:42 PMWait, is this how people are playing this game? So if you get a new weapon, rather than just playing the game normally to level it up, you go out of your way to farm materials for hours right away just to speed level? Running in circles around the map to do it?!??!? For hours?!?!?!?! The reason you don't enjoy this game is because you've turned it into a boring slog. That has been YOUR choice. I don't play this way, and no one I know with a brain does. I'm starting to realize that the "hardcores" don't like this game. Lucky us!
-
There is a difference in leveling the gun up and upgrading it. You can shoot all the mobs you want with a gun, it wont EVER get your gun maxed unless you also do material farming. Because unlike most games you can't get upgrade materials by killing stuff, you have to grab it off the ground/out of chests. Hence the material farming. If you haven't had to run in circles to collect material for armor/weapons you apparently have not had or bothered to max out much gear, its far too often the gear gets fully leveled and the materials needed for upgrades to max it are lacking, especially when you have multiple things you are leveling up that take the same material. Unless of course you have some new magical way nobody knows about to collect materials?
-
Yes. The magic method is to collect them while you are doing bounties, on Patrol. I'll also keep an eye on my mat levels, and if I'm particularly low on one, I'll look to do public events and bounties on that planet. Spotting them is easy if you're constantly running around and killing everything. At least that's how I approach it. Funny how everyone is accusing me of not having leveled weapons and armor. Would I be here offering my opinion if I hadn't?
-
You have 10 DAYS played pretty much.... bare minimum has given you like 300 hours of gameplay..so it cant be THAT bad man.
-
So if someone has that many hours played and says it sucks and another person with one hour played and says it's great. You'd believe the person with one hour played, because he has less hours played? I've pushed as much content out of this game as I could. Then this past week I've discovered two times the content destiny has in Dragon age and I'm not even half way through the main story.
-
Exactly, desticles seem to not understand there for awhile destiny was the only new and fresh game out to play. Many people have many hours logged because..well there just weren't any other games to play.
-
Edited by AristonSparta: 11/27/2014 2:41:00 PMLook, there is no denying the game is good, ok. With over 500 hours spent in game, I can't say it sucks. What I can say is that this game falls short of Bungie's caliber of quality in terms of content and story. We were expecting a large multi-player experience, not 4 "playlists". We were expecting Reach quality missions, not 5 minutes of defending our ghost. Hell the 360 could support a 16 player lobby, and now next gen can't?
-
LOLWUT I bet if I went on clubpenguin it would have more to do than destiny.
-
I highly doubt it, but it's nice you play games designed for 6 year old girls
-
Didn't say I play it, nice to know you cant comprehend English.

Missions? Not a lot. Vendors? Again, not a lot. When I compare it to oblivion, skyrim, gears of war, or basically any other game out there, it pales in comparison.
-
Oblivion- Solo game Skyrim- Solo game Gears of war - No replay value AT ALL. No upgrading, no new weapons, and linear as can be maps/story. Destiny has given us hundreds of hours of gameplay, its different, it has non linear maps, specialized strikes, raids, PvP and much more, and you have 7 days played as ONE character....cant be that bad longface....
-
Edited by Klutz: 11/27/2014 4:14:16 PMOk, let's go with non-solo games. FFXI: much more content WoW: tons more content Guild Wars: many more options to choose from. So, not only do solo games allow more customization of your character, valid gear choices, etc.; but, the MMO games that are around and from the past far outdo this one. The only thing that keeps me coming back to this game is my friends doing things together. The game itself is boring without people to do things with.
