So Brown steals from a store, then gets into a fight after being told to walk on the side walk, he then [i]tries to kill the cop[/i] by [i]stealing his gun[/i], punches the cop in the face, runs off after being shot in the arm, then is told to freeze. He turns around and rushes Wilson with the intent to kill (he proved this already by going for his gun). Have you seen the pictures of this guy? If Brown got close to Wilson, Wilson would have been torn apart. Letting him get within pepper spray distance wouldn't have ensured a take down on Wilson's part, and I do not believe tasers are standard (are they?) and if he did have one, then Wilson, who already had his gun out, would have to take the time to pull his taser out when he's got a huge pissed off guy with intent to kill rushing right after him. He already has out his gun, so he shoots, he aims for center mass because that's just what police are trained to [i]do[/i] (and anyone who is trained to use a gun; seriously aiming for the legs is a movie thing). He fires 6 shots in a panic. Where in any of that do you see indictment material?
