If I see little dots on my map coming for the ammo, I will wait, but a lot of times no one wants it. I generally wait either 30 or so seconds, or until I see red on my radar to pick up heavy ammo. It just really depends.

I wait 5 seconds and if no dots are on my radar I grab it. Besides, I'm usually the best player on the team and need it more than they do.

Yeah thats exactly what I do and are trying to say others should do, don't have to wait for hours but at least see if other teammates are coming to pick it up.
