You must have never made a hunter or tried out blade dancer before complaining, huh? Lemme guess... You were on crucible and had a bad game where you kept getting owned, and most of them were hunters using blade dancer right? Like people said below me, you can't just spam the melee button or trigger with blade dancer, you actually have to aim or you're gonna dash straight into a wall. Hunters have a super where their energy is CONSTANTLY draining. On top of that, they have to pick and choose their opportunity because it's really easy to get killed after using the super unlike the other 2 classes. With warlocks and titans, i don't call it a super. I call it a panic button. It's a button that gets you almost 3+ kills guaranteed every time, and then you got all the effects that stay in the area you just killed everyone in. Blade dancer: a super where the energy is constantly depleting from the second you activate it, THEN you gotta pick and find enemies, let alone hopefully they're not all opening fire (keep in mind they do have damage reduction, it's not that much, any shotgun or fusion rifle can do the job and enough rounds can too) THEN they gotta get up close and personal and make sure they're aiming in the right direction, and that'll get the person what? 1 or 2 kills before he's taken down? Titans and warlocks have a super that'll GUARANTEE at least 3 kills every time without having to do anymore work than what you're already used to; aim > button > guaranteed kills Gunslingers: also take more skill than warlocks and titans. No one ever notices like the 2-3 second delay before the hunter actually pulls out the golden gun which leaves him really vulnerable... This was one of my pet peeves of this subclass. Once they do manage to get their golden gun, again, they have to pick and choose their opportunities wisely, they only get 3 shots (4 with the symbiote helmet) but even then, a hunter will usually get no more than about 2 people with it. Because again, the energy is CONSTANTLY draining and we STILL have to use skill in order to use our supers efficiently. If you can't aim and don't know how to use a super strategically, then you'll learn real fast hunters in fact take the most skill to use. With titans and warlocks, you just gotta know which buttons activate your super, go to a crowded area, press the button once, and boom, you got at least 3+ kills WITHOUT having to aim directly at anyone, WITHOUT having to worry about your super running out before you can even kill anyone, WITHOUT having to worry about getting killed during your super and wasting it all together. Play all the classes and see for yourself which super is hardest to master.

The energy is constantly draining for warlocks using the sunsinger subclass, then they have to find guys to hit with the grenades the super gives them rather than manage to OHK them like blade dancer. The Titan smash and warlock nova bomb do not always get 3+ kills even in control it isn't often you'll get 3+ opponents in one tight spot. Lastly if, when using bladedancer or whatever its called, you have full health a guy with a fusion rifle or a shotgun does not OHK you even if every beam hit in the burst, I've put the entire thing into hunters before and then they smack me and carry on. Don't forget if you get in amongst the enemies with it they cant shoot you up (unless using suicide rocket) because you move far too fast with it and in very sudden bursts. I believe all the classes are evenly balanced for PvP (exception of titans having better armour unless that only takes effect in PvE and iron banner) its just slightly different. Edit:also sunslingers and voidwalkers also have a pause before anything happens upon activating their supers.

  • My highest K/D is on my Hunter. Defender Titan probably takes most skill to play. I'm sure everyone has a different outlook on the classes and how they play.

  • "Titans and warlocks have a super that'll GUARANTEE at least 3 kills every time without having to do anymore work than what you're already used to; aim > button > guaranteed kills" Hunter supers work the same way; aim>button> guaranteed kill as long as you're not retarded and get your reticle close to his body

  • Too many erroneous statements to call you out on. You have 27 kills and 114 kills in pvp with your Titan and warlock, respectively. And yet here you are, acting like you know shit. Oh and of course 2000 with your hunter. So I'll just say. You are so dumb.

  • Btw, you're the one trying to sound tough shit here. No one can seem to give any input on anything without being patronized by the community. These forums are for DISCUSSION. Also, I'm not a pvp fan but I know how to play the damn game and I spend most of my time on my hunter. Don't jump to conclusions, asshole. I was simply giving MY input from MY point of view from all the time I've spent on MY hunter.

  • And you are entitled to your opinion, as am I. But I'm glad to see you care that much to look my stats up which you didn't even look closely enough. I'm giving a debate back to the op. Why are you literally provoking something? Just move on.

  • Its not my fault you use your super with no one around and have t go find someone, the fact that you can use it then run around is what makes it so strong where as warlocks and titans have to commit once we use ours...guaranteed 3 kills my ass lol only if I sit on it for a while and a bunch of ppl try taking a flag The real truth to this whole certain characters are op is that each character has its strengths and weaknesses, and is good or bad in different situations

  • Bro you HAVE to activate your super when no one is around otherwise they'll shoot you down and waste your super. That's why you have to activate it for the few seconds your safe, and THEN turn the corner and acquire your targets. Did you completely ignore the fact that the energy is CONSTANTLY draining and each lunge or swing takes down the energy even faster? Warlocks and titans have a panic button. Hunters don't. How many times have been killed by a super when you were the only one around simply because the person got scared and panicked? It happens all the time on every system. Don't even say that's not true out of arrogance. Seriously it's like some of you people have only played one character in the entire game.

  • I've been drilled by a hunter without ever seeing the activation animation. He was normal one second, with guns, I got close enough for my melee, then suddenly he flashed through me blade dancing... No animation, as if it was their regular melee.

  • No I played a hunter in the beta and a titan in the start of this game but deleted it an started a warlock, there's a reason the top players in the game are hunters lol but I've played all 3 and like I said all classes have pros and con's And if you keep crying saying a hunter is harder to use than any other though then I'll just keep laughing with the majority of the community at your stupidity

  • So putting up an argument & debate and voicing my opinion as I've played all characters makes me stupid lol I like the valid, mature argument though.

  • The thing is, you never really worded it or voiced it like an opinion..you were speaking like it was a fact The common misconception in "opinion" is that ppl feel that just because it came from there mouth or brain that it makes it an opinion No you have to word it as such otherwise like you did, it makes it seem like above all else its a fact

  • I understand what opinion and fact is. But also remember this is all text we're reading, so you can read anything and misinterpret anything in a million different ways. 95% of the things on these forums are opinion because they're all people's thoughts and concerns. In my opinion, while all supers are meant to be 'super' for a reason, and each class has pros and cons, I believe the hunters have the hardest supers to use efficiently. Better?
