PROOF of Fake 30's
At first I didn't really care about the whole REAL and FAKE 30's discussion until I played the raid today with a FAKE 30. He had 2 pieces of Raid gear and exotic helmet and IRON BANNER Guantlets. Everybody in the fire team seemed to know what they was doing until we got to the Confuxes he didn't even know you couldn't be revived! So I asked have you done the raid on hard? His answer was no when they said you could get to level 30 from iron banner gear I just felt no need to do the hard raid. We did finally finish but we had to carry him through.
I don't believe every 30 that had to do Iron Banner to get there is fake or bad but I finally see why people call them fake.
What are your opinions on the FAKE and REAL 30's?

5 RepliesAnd all of the Atheon/Templar cheesers are real 30's? Think before you put your foot in your mouth. There are crappy noob Iron Banner 30's. There are crappy noob VOG 30's. There are crappy noob level 29's. There are crappy noob everything in this game. Just because you encountered one, doesn't mean that the entire gaming population is defined by that one player. Yeah you ran into a scrub player. I ran the raid last night, and the IB lvl 30 didn't have any issues. It was his first town on hard raid. He had completed normal multiple times, but he didn't want to attempt hard until he got to 30.

Everybody has to have a 1st time. Atleast he was lvl 30 for his, usually they're 29 and get wrecked even harder. Hard raid really isn't that different from normal mode.

Maybe I'm confusued, but wasn't the only IB gear being sold the Guantlets and Boots? If that's the case the person would still have to have a Raid chest armor or Helmet (hard Raid only) in order to get to level 30 since you can only equip once piece of exotic armor

It's all the same, with training comes knowledge. Did you know, you couldn't be revived in hard raid on your first ever hard raid? Did you know, what to do with the Confuxes on your first raid? I hear your words, but have a little understanding for noobs, because you were one also! BTW: By chance, did you ever try to capture the third point in control?

I did get the iron banner boots but I also have the raid gauntlets I just need the head piece but I also know in two weeks the new dlc will be released so I need to be a level 30 and yes I do know what to do in raids... I have a group I do hard raid with...

LV 30 doenst mean much. Played a raid with a Titan LV30 recently and the guy was shit. Was invited in the last minute, started yelling in the first five minutes, when he died in the confluxes, he started with the shit that Hunters are useless (3 hunters in the fireteam). Kept provoking wipes and puting the blame on others. In the end, he got the most deaths and the least kills by a large margin. And he was the only 30 in the team.

You can get to 30 without doing hard raid. Get everything but the helmet. Then he would've been a "real" 30 and still not known about revive.

Just a bunch of noob 30's like cmelton said....these are the people I believe are the impatient one's...the ones that cry ..I've done the raid 5 times wahhh wahhh where's my gear...get the f#$% out of here....these players know nothing of what a real mmo is and have no understanding to rng. A lot of real mmo players knew what was coming when this game began...when Xur was implemented...when they were giving shit out in PvP.....just hope they don't repeat the handouts to lvl 32 like they did 30.....I don't hate the game...I enjoy it...but hate all the little whiners that raid twice or complain about not finding people to raid with....say they can't reach 30 it's bull shit...You can spend a hour on the game you can do piece by piece of the raid during the week....suck it up whiners

Don't forget. You don't need to take a single step in hard raid to get to 30. By your logic, someone that has only played the normal raid, got three pieces of gear and had an exotic helm, would also be a "Fake 30". 30=30, regardless of where you got it. Don't shit on someone that got to 30 in a method different from yours. Shit on them for not having experience in something when they said they had experience in that thing. RNG doesn't smile on us all.

A thirty is thirty. The level depends on your gear not your experience. There is no such thing as real 30 or fake 30. Especially in a game that praises RNGesus. There are noobs and then there are not. Easy as that

Not all IB 30's are... Did the raid last night and 2 30's with no IB gear didn't want to touch the relic because they "didn't want to go down" not the first time that's happened. 30 is 30 no matter what the gear is there's bad ones on both sides
