No when black people use it we use it in a different manner, and we change the definition of it, it's a brotherly type thing. We don't like white people using the word because of how it's usually used(in a negative manner, usually as an insult), and because it reminds us of the past.i have white friends who agree they shouldn't say it for that reason alone just out of respect.
