Deej, Will the Raid from The Dark Below be available Day one? *UPDATE*
I know alot of people are planning taking the day off work to hit the raid on day one including myself. Is it going to be available to play on day one? Or will we be waiting a week or so after the DLC release? If we could get an official answer on this (sorry if its else where and I've missed it)

We now know the raid will be available reset your time, so UK 9am Tuesday morning!

2 RepliesLets be honest here guys... We all know there will be little to no story, the raid will just be a repackage of stuff we've already experienced and the gear will just be re-skins of existing equipment. Just my honest opinion.

Instead we have to sift through Bungie BS interviews and get a vague answer to our questions. What if someone was taking off work to try to do the raid first? Well when tf is it? How are clans supposed to coordinate their first attempt not knowing when itll be out? Sigh

I read something that make it seem like you may need to complete a series of tasks and receive something from Xur in order to unlock the raid. This is all just speculation from info that has been extracted from the DLC.

3 RepliesHarold Ryan: There’s going to be new armour, weapons and gear, including new legendary and exotic items for players to earn. The light level cap will go up to level 32, so for players who are playing into the endgame, they’ve got a couple of more levels to go, which is going to really help them with the raid and other competitive weekly strikes and events. There’s a new vendor character in the Tower, with a pretty interesting story to tell, that you’ll be able to experience and play through once you buy the DLC. Her name is Eris. She’s going to send you on a mission against the Hive to help stop Crota and his efforts to invade and take over the Solar System. In addition, your options are expanding with three new multiplayer arenas and a new raid, which will come with the expansion, but like the first raid it will unlock over time.

PS don't ask for source because I'm not the one who's going to dig for it. Just take it or leave it lol

Im hoping its available right away. It was reasonable to have vog come out later so that you had time to grind to 26+. It would be stupid to have it come out a week later now because the majority of players that are actually buying the dlc (and planning to play it) have made it past lvl 28 already.

would also like an answer to this too, for much the same reasons. Want to book a day off & go in blind with my fireteam. The lack of an official response is worrying though, I've read through the comments & couldn't see one but if anyone could link to anywhere that this is confirmed/denied it would be appreciated.

9 RepliesWhy tf is this a question? Lol. Do the missions, learn more story (if there is any ffs) and get prepared to beat crota. If they hold off the raid for a week i wouldnt care. People cant just go in there without getting some info on who crota is and what you're expected to do to complete it. I bet people here wouldnt have beaten the raid if it wasnt for people putting walk throughs and shit. Like seriously, everyone dping the raid already has at least one person experienced
