Like other people have said (the people who actually have some form of intelligence) you people do not understand the importance of communication and socialism required to tackle the raid. If you think you can do it with a bunch of newbie randoms who have no idea what they're doing then go ahead, you're in for a long and frustrating night. It's also very unlikely that a pro player will join because of that, I mean why waste his/her night getting unnecessarily stressed and not gaining much from it? This idea can go ahead because I don't see it harming those who will do it in a fireteam of 6 all of whom they know. Also I'm guessing you're an American user, because if you were from anywhere else in the world you wouldn't even entertain the idea. Being from the UK, all I get is European players, and their languages honestly feel like a first degree assault on my ears.

I think you unlock the raid at level 24 and that means every level 24 is free to attempt the vault with anyone who is willing to do it with them. And that's a good thing it promotes trial and error, but if there was matchmaking every stinking level 24 25 and 26 would flood it looking for a higher level team to get them through it. Since I assume the raid matchmaking would be like strike matchmaking you can't kick people so that people wouldn't just join a match kick the weakest links and invite their friend Jim. If bungie can find a way around this I friken salute bungie for knowing how to update a unfinished game.

Teams of 3 Matching with another Team of 3, Don't need 6 randoms. 2 possibly not knowing what to do especially in hard can get stressful

Anyone who wants matchmaking simply doesn't understand the raid and well.. Needs to go work on their social skills. There is ways to find people on here.. So no, it's not required and would just be a massive ballache.

Video games aren't "Social" per se. They can be. But if you've ever been invited to a random raid party then you should know the raid has absolutely nothing to do with being social. You could have zero friends (I don't count people you've never even met in person) and still beat the raid. And frankly, the raid is a "massive ballache" with or without matchmaking.

Anyone who advocates against matchmaking misunderstands the problem of a lack of matchmaking and misrepresents the ability of players to both be able to do the Raid at all and to make the decision for themselves whether Raid matchmaking benefits them.

Match making is a great idea. If you don't want to use it go to orbit and make a fire team then go to the strike or raid just like we do now but for the people that don't want to spend the time getting a fireteam they will spend that time in the raid because they may not be able to finish.

If they add matchmaking and you get setup with ppl that only want a checkpoint then that is on you. There is a reason why there is no matchmaking on destiny. I myself dont want to raid with a mere lvl 28 who thinks he is leroy jenkins and thinks he can take on lvl 30 raids. So no thank you.

If ur lvl 28 and think you can do hard raid without being carried then ur dreaming. And yeah if ur lvl 28 hard raid is not an option for you. And if u think otherwise you can go screw yourself. And as for the whole day playing crap, i dont have all day to play. If i play i do what needs to be done and i sometimes get rewarded for it. So you can go cry in a corner because i never said all lvl 28's in case u cant read clearly. I'm talking about your type seeing you responded to my comment. You all think you're some type of leroy jenkins. So hell no to matchmaking. and oh yeah f*ck off

Websites for Raid teams is an unnecessary, cumbersome middle-man that need not be in the equation at all.

I would rather pick my team to get through a raid than let some random generating system do it for me. I find the website to be easy and helpful and you do not. You have your opinion as do i. It's a never ending discussion on wether matchmaking will be inserted or not. If they do add matchmaking i know for a fact alot of ppl will stop doing the raid or destiny all together. And if they don't add matchmaking this will lead to the same results. Either way they can never content all of their customers but only those who cry out the loudest.
