Why would I want to fight an enemy that will just come towards me with a sword while I backpedal away? I'd much rather have a multistage raid boss, that combines a bit of platforming with strategic covering.

    You wouldn't always have to continuously back up, maybe there would be strategy, like the actual legit objective is to get Crota to fall off the edge. Maybe when crota is lunging at you, you strafe to the side and he either lunges off the edge, killing him, or he bashes his head into a wall or pillar, damaging him alot. I would like to see that, were bullets do jack shit to the boss, so you have to strategize and use the environment to your advantage. Now THAT would be fun. I would play at level 28 for that.

  • That sounds terrible, no offense. Atheon's fight was cool, because of all the mechanics going on at once like the teleporting, times vengeance, oracles, and the relic shield. All Crota would be is a rhino you have to lead towards an edge, that doesn't take much strategy in the end.

  • Thats why i also suggested he be ran into a wall or pillar, it wouldn't insta kill him, but it would do a hell of a lot more damage than shooting him.

  • I know but cmon! I know you can be more creative! Have you ever played the game shadow of colossus? It was for PS3 and the bosses were MASSIVE! You'd have to climb up them while avoiding trying to take damage from them! What if Crota was like that! What if he was so big you'd have to climb onto him and find a way to defeat him! What if there were like knights or wizards who were feeding him strength, and you'd have to scour his body while avoiding his massive hands and hive enemies while trying to find them!
