When I was young the NES was out. I watched my parents play the original mario bros. I learned the basics by watching them. I then began playing the games myself, when I was allowed to play them with permission of course. Then the SNES came out, it was revolutionary! At this time if Bungie had shown up to my house with Destiny my freakin head would have exploded... Everyone takes so much for granted anymore.

I know exactly what you mean haha. We need to understand how good it is.

Anyone remember a time where games had no updates? You had to live with how it was sent out. No hotfixes or patches. No additional content. Just the wait and hype of the 2nd version to come out (if any). No one was truly able to voice their opinion on how things would and should operate. The game was "as is". Depending on what type of game it was, it even had a different pricing tier. I remember seeing Super Mario RPG for SNES reach $79.99 in eb games stores.

Nerf the feather. Turtle shell OP. I finished main story in 5 hours, is that it? Yoshi OP. Why can't I customize my Mario skin? Only noobs use Pipe Travel. Replaying first level for extra lives is a glitch, patch so noobs can't farm. Coins are useless. Cape OP. No online co-op? I want my money back, join petition now.

Don't even get me started on Mario 3 with the Whistles. Totally OP.
