Hi Sppeedbreaker,
The MARIONBERRY error you are trying to get around is often linked to a router that has gotten into a fundamentally bad state. I would like to recommend power cycling the device per our help article here: http://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11877

Although based on that response, replying seems a little futile, I literally have nothing left to lose. As previously stated I do not own a router, I am plugged directly into what I assume is my dorm's modem, or other device that is not a router . That being said, again. My ISP is Korcett. Is there a way to fix this with out a router? Or do you suggest buying one to use as a more controllable middle man?

Hi Sppeedbreaker, I'm sorry if I missed that detail. I'm not certain what device you are plugging into exactly, but I do know that NAT settings are generally controlled upstream from the console. This can mean they are set at the next stop (a router), the stop after (oftentimes a modem), by your network provider (a college) or even by the ISP (Korcett in this case). There are a great number of variables here and, in some cases, the ability to change your network configuration could be completely out of your hands. Putting another router between your console and the wall won't change how something further upstream works. Bungie is continuing to investigate issues impacting players and as soon as more info is available, you can be confident we will share it.

Thank you for an honest answer, despite the slight sarcasm I'm trying not to be like the raging psychopaths within this forum. I'm not angry, I'm just disappointed. Half of the reason I got the Xbox One was for this game, and the fact that I can't play except at what seems to be completely random times is just a little soul crushing. But at least you say your trying which is worth something, I suppose waiting another month won't be too bad.
