Why did bungie take the heavy ammo synth away from Xur???
the very first week Xur did exchanges of glimmer and materials for strange coins and bungie took that away …i understand why you guys did that….Xur also sold 5 packs of heavy ammo for 1 coin and now this week that option is no longer available …
why would you (Bungie) take away the heavy ammo synth from Xur??? I just don't get it…anybody else notice the option to buy heavy ammo from Xur was gone this week of was it just me???

4 RepliesThe answer why Xur didn't have heavy ammo this weekend is that there was an exploit that allowed people to use heavy ammo in the crucible and basically have unlimited heavy. They've patched that exploit now, so odds are Xur will be selling again next week, fear not

2 RepliesYou guys calling this man stupid are really the stupid ones... If I'm not mistaken heavy ammo synths are 900 glimmer each. 900 x 5 = 4500 for you slow-minded people. That's 4500 glimmer that can be bought with one coin.... Just one... You know how much time that would take to grind out 4500 glimmer? Besides why do you guys care what someone else is spending their coins on?

1 ReplyYeah i noticed big time. I usually buy at least 6 lots from him-and they don't last the week. Last week i had 25,000 glimmer,now i couldn't afford to upgrade a pair of armoured underpants. As for Bungie-i think they like making us suffer.

Edited by Vandal Savage: 11/22/2014 11:44:22 PMIt is very simple, this week is iron banner after you rank to level 4 you need 9000 (18000 if you need both)glimmer to buy gloves or/and shoes, so they are trying to force you to buy heavy ammo with glimmer, if you do that you might end up with not enough glimmer to buy shoes and gloves, so you have to grind/play more to earn that glimmer,. Simply they are forcing you to grind more, sink more hours into the game. Do you think it is by accident that you cant buy Heavy's with strange coins the same week you need glimmer for the iron banner shoes and gloves....its a scam.

Last week I bought 100 packs and this week I was going to do the same so I had plenty for raids and strikes I suppose [b]this isn't the way it was intended to be played.[/b] Youre supposed to run out of glimmer and ammo at the raid to piss you off more than the usual teleporter initiating a forced wipe because someones trapped inside..

i Have all exotic armor for all three classes ..The only exotic weapons i don't have would be: Hardlight ,, Universal Remote and Plan C…so what does bungie perpose i do with my coins??because if Xur sells anything besides the 3 guns i just mentioned i won't be buying Ps: Not to brag but maybe luck has been in my corner from time to time,, I also have all the drops from the raid including full sets of gear for all three classes and all the raid weapons except for one… Preadyths timepiece

Maybe xur selling heavy ammo synthesis is also RNG, and this week the 5% chance of no heavy ammo finally happened. On a side note though, I'm glad I stocked up on heavy ammo this month from the previous sales. I'm glimmer broke from the iron banner lol

if you raid much at all..then you were probably one of the ones stacking ammo synths from Xur weekly…..if you don't raid much or only do the raid on normal…then you buy your ammo from the gun smith…nuff said
