To preface my mini-rant: I am a software developer, so I do understand some of the processes that are going on in companies like this, albeit on a much smaller scale.
So, for those unaware of how a software company functions, there can be many development teams running at once, and not every team, or everyone on a dev team, will be tasked with fixing bugs, tweaking settings or expanding on the story (which I too admit needs a lot of work). Some people are [u]actually[/u] allowed to progress the game (or product) with new, fun ideas such as this tricked-out sparrow which will no doubt bring a lot of joy to those who have one.
Anyone who complains about the EV-30 Tumbler being given out while bug fixes, nerfed exotics, and messed up raid mechanics still are around, must not be able to see past the Bungie "black box" to realize that there is more than one stream of development at any given time. You will get more content when it gets finished. You don't hold back on some fun stuff just to make sure some completely unrelated feature being handled by another team is pushed to production.
If all you want to do is complain about the game being garbage and you don't like what is going on with it, switch off the console, don't buy the expansion, and move on to something that will give you the level of enjoyment you are expecting. If you are whining about already having the expansion pass, go do a barrel roll or 10 on the Tumbler and see if it can crack even a tiny smile onto your face, and if not, then load up some COD or MCC and fill your boots.
I for one would like to give thanks to all of those who are putting in long hours to provide us with new content @ Bungie. I am definitely looking forward to grabbing my buddies and exploring The Dark Below...

P.S.: When people complain about paying $60 for a game where you can sink hundreds of hours into, and then say it "wasn't worth the money", just think about how much it would cost to go see a movie. Remind yourself that your probably gonna drop the same amount on popcorn and 2 hours of so-called entertainment that you'll forget about in a week.

Thank you for finally sharing a good opinion bro. It kinda ticks me off when people talk about how bad the game is, and don't even realize how deep the development of it has gone. Complaints such as "The story mode sucks" or "Too many bugs" are stupid. Mainly because the game is in early development and will fix these issues in a few months. Overall though I totally agree with you. Destiny is a great game.

In what sense is the game in early development???? Development of Destiny started 6 years ago after Halo:ODST released. and complaints about the story and bugs are completely valid, because there is no story and there are way too many bugs. GOOD (not even great) games don't ship as barebones as Destiny did with as many bugs as it did.

And to be fair the story is a bit short, but again, expansion packs.

Really? I actually didn't know that. Ok so the game has been developed for a long time, which means it is a quality game, therefore people shouldn't complain about it.

But you're right. Some complaints are valid and should be recognized by developers, but people don't realize how much was put into destiny. But the expansion packs are going to add a lot to the game so no need to worry about complaints for much longer.

Cant wait for the Dark Below. Bungie is def making so many improvements. Just playing today, I noticed a handful of updates and changes since I played last.

I - and no doubt, many others - were expecting 'rich cinematic storytelling set in huge worlds to explore'. Quoting that from the game's disk case, too. What we got, basically, is Halo 3 with a shiny new paint of coat. Honestly, I shouldn't be surprised - beating a dead horse has worked out just fine for EA and Activision. Their games are piss-poor, but who cares because MONEY! Logically, Bungie decided to see if they couldn't get their hands on the beating stick.

I totally agree. It takes hours, days, and weeks to get a simple barrel roll to be good. Not to mention the graphics of the sparrow. I don't have the expansion pass but I'm gonna get it.

Do you agree with me they are lying in this article? Because they are saying:"we seen you guys making trick videos etc." But why are there jumps and stuff allready in the open world??? Because they allready made that sparrow a long time ago and they are bringing this out earlier so they quit doqn people. I get what youre saying but they are just lying and most people just take it.

You must not be much of a gamer if your defending the honor of a company that took nearly 2 months to update something the community has been asking for weeks on end. You put up the same argument that every turd that defends bungie's game. Btw, $60 at a movie theatre? You pay at most $12 for a ticket and $10 for popcorn, candy, etc. that's $22. You ever work for a major gaming company? I didn't think so. Also your kd ratio of 3000 kills to 9000 deaths along with no character achieving lvl 30 speaks volumes about how much you suck at this game.

I must correct you good sir but I got the game a few days after it came out and the fact that you bring K/D, TDB and so on and so forth explains why every time you speak, the IQ of the forums goes down. At least in the Gundam forums everyone is civil and haves intelligence, whereas here there are the few intelligent and the feral. I just came to read up on news and noticed I have two notifications, one of them being an lol and the other being the response of someone who begs for attention by insulting everyone around him. Also, your troll attempts suck complete ass and you need to learn how to do it correctly with flair and intelligence. Learn young padawan. Learn well.
