I could care less about the SR because I use it and it's a great gun. My problem is getting killed by fusion rifles and hand cannons half way across the freakin map. Like how? I just don't get how a pistol can kill you from so freakin far away. So damn infuriating.

Many pistols, not including last word, come with the send it perk that makes the range nearly that of a scout rifle. And apparently hand cannons damage fall off with distance isn't nearly as bad as other weapons. I've been out gunned by the last word while using VoC at ranged that gun shouldn't compete at though I will admit that's only happened a few times.

Maybe I should dabble in the hand cannons. I bought last word but haven't really used it cause I, like you, enjoy scout rifles. I got VoC maxed but I always find myself second guessing my strategy because range does not seem to matter.

I love hand cannons and used them exclusively until I got VoC. I might switch back once fatebringer drops for me. I find the range amazing with VoC can outgun anything but snipers if you really abuse the range. Suros can apparently still keep up range wise though which is lame.

The best players I've ever encountered use handcannons. If you are getting pwned by a handcannon, that person has skill. There are so few people that actually roll that hard that I don't think it is the gun itself. It's the guardian behind the gun.

I would absolutely agree with the exception of the last word. It doesn't require nearly as much skill since you can just hold the trigger and spray em down.
