My idea is a pretty basic one that I believe would improve the day to day monotony of Destiny PVE.
Anyone who has played Diablo III : Ultimate Evil Edition had probably come across the Nemesis. This creature, if it kills you, had the chance of becoming stronger and going after your friends in their game. The more it kills, the stronger it becomes (maxes out at 5) and also brings with it shades of those it's killed to aid it.
Destiny could use this same premise as a targeted public event. Instead of having to hunt an Ultra (Captain, Minotaur, Knight, etc.) and keep them from being able to get to certain points, they instead show up to hunt you for being such a pain and murdering their kin. The event for the other guardians would be "Save your fellow guardian" our something along those lines. Another possibility would be drops, such as with the extraction crew event, where a turret or temporary heavy is dropped to aid you in survival.
Thoughts? I really think something like this would keep us on our toes. I feel like our enemies are too sterile and we should have something to put some fear back in our hearts.
