because in the latest update it was made harder to solo the nightfall/heroic weekly. the arc primaries are only obtained through the Vault of Glass, Fatebringer, an arc handcannon is dropped only on templar bossfight on hard, praedyths timepiece, an arc pulserifle is only dropped on Gatekeeper on hard.
you dont need friends to do a raid, simply post in the threads on the forums that are there to make fireteams, if you're unwilling to do so for whatever reason then there's nothing we can do to help you. i dont even know why you so want to miss out on the best content this game has to offer.

Technically u can get fate bringer from atheon on hard as well. I have heard u can get timepiece from atheon but haven't actually seen anyone obtain it that way

I'll start recording atheon fights bc I've seen it drop twice in 2 weeks. All this shows is a select group of people's drops though. Until bungie releases a drop table of their own it's still always up for discussion

Hopefully you can understand the reluctance to take peoples word on their drops at what checkpoint. It becomes a far more reliable loot table if we only allow data with proof make it to the table.

Ive done many raid runs and i swear i have never seen either drop after atheon, same for anyone ive raided with, timepiece on gatekeeper/fatebringer on templar

Atheons drop table on hard is huge....the largest of all the drop tables. I have done hard mode atheon 24 times and seen fate bringer drop twice at atheon. I was saying the same thing until I saw it with my own eyes. I personally haven't seen timepiece drop at atheon but with the drop table being as large as it is I wouldn't discredit the chance and since my friend says he got it there then I believe him. U don't have to if u don't want to

Nope, time piece is dropped at gatekeepers, fatebringer and praetorian foil are dropped at oracles and templar.

My friend who has done the hard raid 24 times for loot said he got the timepiece from atheon as well but I got mine from gatekeeper

Yes three people in my party all received it and one lucky mo'fo' also had just picked it up after oracles, so technically 4 dropped in whole raid. Reason I remember so well is I have been chasing it for weeks and they all continually rub it in, as good friends do

Yeah thanks for the input...I know I saw it on two different raids but that helps confirm that it wasn't a fluke for me. I've been chasing it for 4 weeks now and it's the only raid weapon I need for a complete set

Ive done the hard raid over 40 times, never seen it drop on atheon. I've had more exposure than you and your friends.

And even if you've had more exposure, it needs to be pointed out we're dealing with RNG here. You could see 1 000 000 loot drops and not see what I see in 1.

I've done it 24 times. My 1 friend has done it more than that...that alone out weighs ur 40 times. It's ok to be wrong, just not ignorant.

Then what about the people who raid with me consistenty? That alone massively outweighs you and your friend, we've NEVER seen it drop at Atheon ever. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt but it is extremely unlikely.

I was arguing just like u for 4 weeks until 2 weeks ago when I saw it drop for the first time then it happened again on Tuesday. If we are gonna add In all the people we raid with then it's pointless....U said u had 40 hard raids which gave u more experience than me and my friends. That statement was to prove a point that me and my "friends" have way more than 40 raids completed. I have more than 24 hard raids completed that's just how many I've done and got loot for.
