This is the type of destiny they have us in the first place. I'm pumped for the dlc don't get me wrong but it's nothing special just a change of scenery

Any change of scenery like this is something to be pumped for, you have to understand that there are so many complaints about how there's not enough content. Hell, whether it was held out from us or not, i'm glad the plans ARE underway. But even though people have complained about how we need more content, i'm sure the same people will complain about how we should have had it in the first place.

Yeah, honestly idc about the money all I'm worried about is when destiny 2 comes out will you have to restart or it would be awesome if your character was transferable

Oh, bungie has expressed that when Destiny sequels release, you're character(s) (Either from Destiny 2 to 3, or even 1 to 2 to 3) will stay with you. They also mentioned that people when who haven't played Destiny 1 start playing Destiny 2, it'll be fair to where they don't feel like they have years of leveling up to do.
