Destiny is becoming a part time job.

Have to put in your time in the fields pickin' bloom for the man. So tired of it. It's ridiculous.

  • Right now, once we complete the "end game," all we have to do is farm Strikes, check our success with loot caves, dredge though the patrols to gain rep, or spend time in a multiplayer shoot out. On top of that, it's ONLY to acquire better gear-much of which ends up being dismantled. Now, while I don't mind hunting and gathering on the limited worlds that Bungie has created for us, it gets pretty tedious. And while I manage to enjoy getting merch'd by players (who's characters haven't made it off of Earth in the story line) in the crucible, I think there could be a way to offer a bit more incentive. My proposal? A Scavenger game option for Crucible, where the focus is gathering Relic, Helium, Spirit Bloom, and Spinmetal in their respected environments-all while you fend off other Guardians. The materials should spawn randomly and inconsistently to ward off the temptation to camp. Also incorporate chest that hold Harmonic Essence and Weapons Parts, with the OCCASIONAL Ascendent Materials. Let's face it, Destiny feels extremely repetitive with limited excitement in replay value as a new character. If all our time logged in is spent trying to upgrade our Legendaries or Exotics, at least maximize our ability to do so. You (Bungie) don't allow us FULL maps to explore and gather materials, at least let us have a chance to harvest them while we spend hours in the crucible cue.
