I for one never have a good time with ring, I suck with luck and gambling. Xur is my best friend in this game, and if he's nerfed I will be so pissed at the community. I don't care if people don't feel "special" and or feel like they've worked hard for those lucky drops. If you want to feel special, work on your skill. Be the best with that weapon everyone has.

Yup. It's the player, not the gear! Partially is the gear, but the player decides what to use.

I would totally agree on that comment, but there's only one issue. Using the weapons/armour on PvE isn't so bad, it's when you use it on PvP that requires no skill. Here's why: 1. Skills regenerate during matches (not fair in my opinion) 2. Weapons that are exotic still have trouble against a flimsy uncommon fusion rifle 3. It's by chance that you'll run into someone that activates their super and wipes you out (no matter how good you are) The multiplayer needs to be ironed out before they start selling exotic equipment for everyone, as it makes the game very unenjoyable at times. Why thank you good sir (: opinions are always appreciated, I do have a counter opinion though ;). 1. That's fair, I played battlefield quite extensively before destiny as well as halo so I understand how this takes a bit of getting used to. 2. It's all about how you use the weapon still and how much time you've dedicated. Fully upgraded exotics are extremely powerful in the right hands, I know I never fell short in a fushion rifle fight after I got pocket infinity upgraded (which took forever -.- ugh) also, I've seen people using the first gun in the game and wrecking, in my opinion, that shows there is definitely some hardcore balancing in crucible, as using beginner guns in cod or battlefield would have you screwed over unless you were an untouchable God player. 3. No arguments there, supers are horrible to die by, but amazing to use. As much as my KD despises them, everyone, even the scrubs deserve to feel like a super warrior for a brief moment in a game. Also, supers have cheques and balances, I've seen a person go without a death because they knew approximately what time during the match people started getting supers and went out of range to snipe, or invisible for that much more advantage around a corner. Destiny plays differently from most fps games, it's all about getting used to it... If you watch ms watts on YouTube i agree with her opinions quite a bit. (For the most part.) Oh yes it needs ironing for sure, no arguments about that, but as it is right now, it's a pretty solid pvp. And I think people need to adapt their play style a bit if they find they aren't successful, playing destiny like you play battlefield, halo, cod, Titanfall or really anything else will not be effective. Exotics aren't exactly "exotics" but hell, I'm one of those people that doesn't have all the time in the world and I don't want to be that one guy months later who doesn't have this super rare gear that super lucky players got through rng.
