You come home to find all of your money and valuables missing, with a broken window in the back. You can reasonably assume that you were robbed, despite not witnessing the robbery. That argument is actually based on [i]less[/i] evidence than the Big Bang.

The Big Bang is still just a theory. Research, and things we have seen have led scientists to the conclusion that there was a Big Bang.

Fun fact: the term "Big Bang" was originally used as an insult towards the theory that there was nothing and it exploded. But it became popular and it was dubbed Big Bang

Technically the big bang did have a series of explosion It was caused by the rapid collision of matter and antimatter When these two collided they produce massive amounts of energy It was just luck that there was more matter particles then antimatter

Interesting. IIRC, a priest discovered it. Or maybe discovered that the universe was infinitely expanding.
