Thanks - we hope DeeJ comes along and says something about any of the series. It would be nice to hear if something like this is even under consideration or not.

I would love to hear from him; this would add a lot more spice to the game. Imagine listening to your own music while while killing a bunch of assholes - that would be awesome!

Yeah there is an OLD gravity-race game on the PS3 called WipeoOut (several versions now) that had this feature and you could just create a playlist and psych yourself up as you raced against others on-line. It was such a simple feature, but it made the game so much more interesting. I recalled having that feature in a few others as well, just forgot their names.

Sonar ghost template might actually not be that bad of an idea. Gorgons in the raid seem to be able to use echolocation of some sort. Im remember going invisible with my hunter and at one point, the beeping would be a lot faster and higher pitched the closer i got to it. Could be helpful spotting invisible players.

Yeah we agree - we also thought an audio cue might help when you are concentrating on something on screen, or an action and not watching the radar as much as you might normally.

Idea: God Of War template: ability, once activated could give all weapons random 5-15% damage boost for 2 minutes. Ghost needs to recharge for a few minutes after use. How does that sound?
-
GoW Ghost added, credit given - I tweaked it just a little, hope it was along the line of what you wanted.

Sounds better than what i had originally thought of. Nice job. :)

I had another idea lol. Flashbang Ghost: Ghost emits a flash of light, blinding any enemies caught within the radius of the flash for roughly 10-15 seconds, enough time to get away from a group of enemies, or get the few bullets to kill said target. Takes 1-2 minutes to recharge. Sort like the ability the titan bubble shield gets with helm of saint-14, but instead of a shield, its a flash. Enemies get marked just like the shield so you have an idea of which enemies are blinded. :)

We actually talked about a Grenade-style Ghost; had what you just mentioned along with a smoke grenade for concealment, a decoy grenade to draw enemy to an area and a tangle grenade that slowed down movement in the area of effect. The specific type used was selected by leveling up the Ghost and unlocking various effects. I may go ahead and post that one in there tomorrow, and add in your flashbang.

Edited by ItsMrYG: 11/13/2014 8:25:29 PMIn my opinion, the tangle AOE Ghost ability would render the Hunter's new subclass useless, as the super for the new subclass is litterally a Void puddle/well that is placed on ground that severely scales down enemy movement, sort of like the wizard poison bubble. In my opinion, if the tangle ability were to be implemented, there wouldn't be any point to using the new subclass when the DLC drops. Its a great idea, and kudos to the OP, but the subclass would be pointless. Just my opinion though, im up for constructive criticism.

Ahh I did not know that was upcoming, this was considered before any of these even went up Yeah that would kind of make the hunter feel even less needed than they already do huh. LOL
-
Oh, shut up. Lol. XD

In my personal opinion, the tangle effect should be removed, ( just an opinion ) solely because once the DLC drops, and we all recieve our 3rd subclass, the Hunter is getting a subclass called Void Well, which pretty much slows down all forms of enemy movement, sort of like the wizard poison bubble. If many people had that ability with their Ghost, it could render the new Hunter subclass useless. :/ Just an opinion, though. Its a good idea, but with the new subclass, you know. :/

I'll be following this post to see what updates come along. This is a great post. Im happy for coming across this. Thanks for putting my idea in the thread. I feel honored lol :)

Yeah, that's a good idea. :)
