This is a design choice to limit your progression in a game that has very little content. Same reason why they patched the loot caves, added the baby bumper for the last boss, having to decrypt the engrams, and no ability to trade. These are some of the examples proving that bungie is trying every trunk in the book to slow us down in hoping that we wouldn't realize how lacking their game is.   • At this rate, games will reduced back to Atari pong, but with different colored blocks that can won through rng grinding! Unfortunately, competition and in-game materialism is all a game needs to provide occupation for the lowest common denominator.

  • Well, personally I am okay with the amount of content I have right now and I'm looking forward to what's going to be added in the next few updates/DLC. My point is that they went too far with the limited progression in regards to the raid in particular. Since it is the only place right now where we can get gear to get us to 30 and it seems to have such low drop rates for that gear, and we can only do it once a week, I think they went too far. Giving us a couple more chances per week for boss loot from just the normal raid would probably help a lot of people to get the loot they've been missing out on. That's my opinion
