This has long been a desired idea by the community.
Also - end of strike/crucible matches as well mats would be nice.
finally - give us a way to purchase those 4 mats as well as weapon pieces, hadronic essence, sapphire wire, plasteel, ascendant energy, ascendant shards. These would either be with glimmer or marks (ascendant materials would most definitely be marks. maybe 25 marks each.)

The ascendant materials get annoying, but my favorite way to farm for those is through public events. If you need some, I'd recommend that. Your first one per day gives you a package that may contain an ascendant material or strange coin, plus they have a pretty high rate from completing them with gold tier.

i have about 200 ascendant energy and 200 ascendant shards My issue is regular mats. However - when i created my 2nd/3rd characters, one big issue was a lack of sapphire wire and plasteel (lvl 27 with lvl 2 cryptarch) For newer players, class armor material and weapon fragments would be handy. For higher players, we spend our capped marks on items to dismantle. Why not just buy the shards directly?
