Level cap, exotics and light
If in the future the level cap is raised, how would exotic armor fair?
Would the light of the armor piece increase? Or would you then be able to equip more exotic armor pieces to level up your character? Or does nothing happen to them and you have to get different armor pieces from a future DLC?
What are your thoughts as to what the Bungie Dev's might do in the case of a level cap increase?

Edited by BtG Woody: 11/6/2014 8:09:44 PMMy thoery, at least for the first DLC, is that Exotic armor will gain one more upgrade defense perk. If you notice now, exotic armor only has 2 upgrades which cost ascendant shards. Each one costs 8 shards, meaning you can fully upgrade an exotic for less than it takes to upgrade legendary and raid gear. After the third upgrade defense perk, exotics would become the most expensive armor to upgrade and also have 3 upgrades on the last tier like the legendary gear does. This upgrade would also increase the maximum light from 30 to whatever is needed for the new level cap.
