So i accepted a random invite...
I was just playing my 28 hunter, doing my dailys, turning in bounties. I get a random invite saying, hey can you help us with the raid? I think why not. I join. All of them are under 10, 3 are 26, 3 are 27 and dont know how to do the raid. i think eh, i can deal with this, i might get some ascendant shards or raid armor. I play through it with them, everytime they die they complain about lag. Finally after a hour we get to Oracles. As i tell them where to go, they just go wherever they want. I think only me and 1 or 2 others where shooting the Oracles. Based Icebreaker. But anyway, Templar. 3 of them are always running to get relic first. After 5 attempts of failing and them not knowing what to do, i pick up relic. Host threatens to kick me... HE dosent. We kill Templar that atttempt. I dont even WANT to say the complaining during jumping puzzles. We get to door and wait for Others to get here. Host tries to shove me off edge. He looks at me finally and says " Wait, your a hunter? We were going to cheese him." Then before i can say anything i am kicked. I am never going to accept a random invite again.
EDIT: Wow, i come back from school and theres 40 replies! didnt think people would care, thanks!
EDIT: Some people arent realizing that not all the kids are talking, the same 2 or 3 were talking, others were not talking much
EDIT: I will still be accepting random invites, i was just salty

The leader of his party inspects me and see that I'm a hunter and says, "Naw bro we need a warlock get him outta here!" Followed by a kick. The next day I'm running the raid with that friend who invited me and one of our teammates had to leave. The kid who kicked me from the raid the day before joins him and asks "Are you guys at Atheon?" I say "yes we are." Then he says "Cool I'm gunna get some free loot." A little furious that this scrub wanted to freeload just to get rewards, I let him help us defeat Atheon. However, just before we were about to empty our final rounds into Atheon, I proceed to my roster menu... Can you guess what I did next? Yep! You guessed it! I booted that motherf*cker right before the rewards were gunna be given and felt a [b]great[/b] satisfaction! He joins back in and starts going on a rampage! All I do is laugh at him, making him more angry! Finally I ask him "Hey bro guess what?" He says "What b*tch?!" *You have been removed from the Fireteam* is what he would read on his screen next. Edit: God damn 133 replies?! I feel special :') Edit 2: 140+ replies now haha :P Edit 3: 200+ replies! I would like to thank my mom, my dad, my dead goldfish goldy!..

Doing so will result in blames going towards you, followed by raging and a removal from the fireteam.

Helped a couple through the gorgons got to atheon and then they left later on.....damn it! Atheon cp to do though :D it isn't similar but some people invite you. You help and then get booted

4 RepliesThe worst is when you just get blank invites, how -blam!-ing hard is it to write; Raid, weekly, nightfall, bounties, strikes, pvp, etc.? I dont expect a paragraph of text explaining in detail what they want to do but atleast give me an idea of what you want me to join you for. Unless its someone I frequently play with I just ignore blank invites, even from people on my friends list, since most of the people on my list are people ive played with only once before.

I got randomly invited to do the raid while in the tower messing around. Joined them waited 10 mins to find more people so I ask two people I had attempted the raid with before. start the raid. First time we tried it took us 9 hours (we did the raid when it first came out so no walk throughs yet) over a span of three days. Weeks later still play with everyone from are O.G. crew and do the raid and other activities when we can. Goes to show that randoms can turn into great experiences.

I accepted an invite from someone in the tower, VOG Hard. At least he put a message. Anyhow, they were all 31s and a 29. I explained the whole thing to them and we never got past 2 Confluxes. Since I saw they were dying to Legions, I told them where to go. Here's how it went, 1 would always die at first Conflux, 2 more would die during Legions, completely disregarding me telling them where to hide, 1 would die at 2 Confluxes leaving 2, me and another, we would just decide to wipe. I despise the fact that you can get 30+ without doing VOG once.

I was patroling on Venus an hour ago. Came across a bunch of 24's doing the raid. I saw they were having a hard time so I figured i'd help them out since I had to kill enemies either way. Got an invite all of the sudden and I figured what the hell, i'll at least help them get through the door. Turns out they had absolutely no clue what was going on. They got pissed because I was holding the first sync plate by myself and not helping them out. I tried to explain that there had to be someone near all of the plates or else it would never end. They wanted nothing of it and kicked me. I'm guessing they're still going at it :D

I feel bad for those people. I haven't had this problem and I mained a hunter a lot. I only do pug raids so I guess I've been lucky. Also your talking about Vog right? I didn't know there was any cheese options left in that raid. Also props for the use of salty and being a helpful guardian. Cheers brother.

I actually can not play with those little asssqueakers for a long time. After 1or 2 hours it gets annoying.

If someone threatens to kick me in a game, I just leave. I don't need that shit and I almost always have everything done before I help others anyways. I hardly accept random invites, I usually just post on lfg site to help people there.
